Hello everybody,

I'm reaching out to everyone to find out if anyone knows how many cybertruck pre-orders there would be in Europe ?

I'm from Belgium and I also pre-ordered the cybertruck.

Around 10% of the orders are from Europe. Similar to the number of orders from Canada.

Maybe 100k European orders if there are 1 million orders total. I have not seen Elon confirm total number of orders recently.

An old article:
https://electrek.co/2020/03/28/tesla-cybertruck-top-10-countries-reserving-electric-pickup-truck/

That data probably comes from this thread:
https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...-trims-and-locations-as-of-april-27-2020.814/

Details in the spreasheet:

thank you very much JollyRoger, I just hope that we will also be entitled to the cybertruck. It has a shape that brings something new to the automotive world. This will be my first new car (pick-up).

Tesla is building the 4680 factory in Berlin and they are planning to eventually start Cybertruck production there. We will have to wait for the Berlin factory to start or we wait for excess capacity in Austin.

Global deliveries will likely lag behind US deliveries. I really need my CT now :( - my Saab broke down and I'm left with the Mini.

Where did you hear they were going to build it in Germany?

As far as I know, we don't know if they plan to build it anywhere but Texas. They don't plan on making Model S/X anywhere but California, for instance.

I heard it when watching the Giga Berlin contruction videos, the current factory is 1/4 of the originally planned size and can expand in future phases. But me thinking I heard it from a dubiuos source is not like having it confirmed by Elon.

The evidence is circumstantial.

Elon tweeted Giga Berlin will make batteries and vehicles starting with model-Y. (Implying more models will be produced).
Also reiterated in interviews.
https://www.electrive.com/2022/03/24/tesla-plans-to-build-more-models-in-germany/

Elon often mentions that the strategy is to produce vehicles close to the customers.

From Master plan part 2:
- produce vehicles for all market segments (including a pickup)

Tentative Master plan part 3:
- scale production to extreme size

Giga Texas will be the main factory for Cybertruck production.

Implying more factories will build the truck.

It's inevitable that Tesla will produce the Cybertruck in Berlin as Giga Berlin will be making 4680 cells. Maybe it will trail the 3, the Semi, robotaxis and the Optimus robot - Or the Cybertruck flops?

It would be very surprising to hear that we need to wait for yet another factory before we get our Cybertrucks in Europe. Giga Berlin will be part of the solution for Europe. It cannot reasonably remain a Model-Y only factory. For now, both Austin and Berlin are in fact Model-Y only factories.

If Giga Berlin does not prioritize the cybertruck, then we need to hope for Austin deliveries to Europe.
