How do you engage the TACC in the Cybertruck? I thought it was just a double press of the left scroll wheel. And I swear I did exactly that to engage it successfully last week, however now every time I try it, all it does is pause my music.
I also have the loud popping (a single clank or pop) the two times I've raised to extract just to show friends. Both times it was in my driveway on concrete.
I also do custom, with standard acceleration and higher drive height & relaxed. I originally had lower drive height selected but found that going over large speed bumps would bottom out the suspension, so thought the higher setting might solve that.
I also have 'entry' set for when in park...
Is Santana Row allowing people to get in the truck yet? When I was there in December there was a rope around it and you could only look from a distance.
I assume you are in Los Gatos based on your username. I'm near the border of Saratoga/Cupertino and SJ.
Congrats! Have you gotten delivery date yet? Will you be picking it up at the Sunnyvale SS?
I picked mine up at Sunnyvale. The truck was clean and no issues to report.
That's what I'm thinking. In fact, I recall many months ago reading a story about someone who said their applique flew off when driving. So maybe the front clips on the original design didn't hold well enough.
Yes, I understand how to take it off, I'm just curious about the differences between the version of truck that has a T30 holding the rear of the applique in place and the clip that doesn't require any tool as in the video I pasted into my original post.
Yesterday I wanted to remove my Tonneau applique. I first watched this video which seems to be produced by Tesla, showing someone removing it in order to install the Cyber Tent. It shows no tools required. Time stamp at 40 seconds.
However when I take a close look at mine (vin #126xx) I...
In your Tesla app service history, don't you have an invoice showing mileage IN and mileage OUT? All of mine have that. I thought even with under warrantee service they still file an invoice even if no charge.
Today we were driving down the freeway in our new Cybertruck when we came across a lot of smoke from a nearby grass fire. As we have done before in our other Tesla cars, we turned on the bio defense mode to keep the smell of the smoke out. However, as we passed through the smoke, we could...
Yes, it originally had a July est. date.
I'm not sure if this is due to the long term shareholder signup, or just because things are starting to speed up.
I stopped by our local Tesla SS and saw about a dozen Cybertrucks in the back. I was able to walk up to one that was more near the front...

I'm curious why you think this, although I hope you are correct. From my checking past configuration dates to vin assignments, the quickest I've seen is about 5 weeks.
I was wondering if someone who configured from the long-term shareholders invites has had a sped up vin assignment?
