film or natural which is less hot

I think the question was pretty simple... but I don't have mine yet. I have heard in multiple videos the stainless gets pretty hot in the sun. I would think the wrap would be cooler, especially if you use a lighter color.

    Chassis Rating for Cybertruck?

That is good to know. I have had to haul loads over the tow rating before. Sometimes those situations just happen and you need to get things done. I thought the tow rating seemed low especially with a 2500lb payload capacity. I wonder if the limit is the hitch, suspension, or something else...

    Chassis Rating for Cybertruck?

Awesome! What is the most you have hauled with it before? I was wondering how it would do with a track skid steer. How good the brakes are and how the truck handled the weight being loaded on there. If it lifted it at all when loading.

    Chassis Rating for Cybertruck?

My family owns a rental yard. We would usually do not rent to anyone hauling that weight unless they had a 3/4 ton truck or bigger. If its even close we don't allow it to leave unless we know them very well. You are probably fine but trust me, they see a lot of idiots wreck stuff. We had a brand...

Milwaukee Packout build with toolbox shelf in bed vault 🧰

This is pretty cool. If there was a way to make a sliding rail so you could pull it to the end that would be very cool. There's probably a better option but maybe a garage door rail? I have the Stack tech system. I thought these systems were goofy when I first saw them. I was wrong, they're very...

NON-Foundation Series Cybertruck Now Available to Order (Price: $79,900) !!

There is also depreciation for businesses and that is based on the percentage you use it for business. It’s not related to the credit.

NON-Foundation Series Cybertruck Now Available to Order (Price: $79,900) !!

I'm pretty confident if you use it for 60% business you can write off 60% of the vehicle cost. I'm not sure how that effects the tax credit though. if you get 60% of that or 100%. I would think 100% of credit and 60% of depreciation, but not a CPA. I'm RN115xxx and probably gonna delay if I get...

EBY Aluminum Dump Trailer or Diamond C DOD?

I'm contemplating whether to get a aluminum dump or the deck over dump style. If I could find a aluminum DOD that would be the best solution. The aluminum is much lighter so there's more capacity. About 11k (cybertruck tow cap)-3k(trailer weight) so I could load 8k in the trailer. The DOD would...

TESLA is Cancelling Cybertruck FS Orders - No Refunds - Sign the Petition

I would think used prices will drop. Because of the EV tax credit it will effectively make the truck $72,500. FS should be higher because of added features/accessories. But I would think they will drop much more than the 1k you would lose. My guess would be around 80k for a used FS AWD and 100k...

TESLA is Cancelling Cybertruck FS Orders - No Refunds - Sign the Petition

Someone may have already mentioned this, but If Tesla was allowing holds and now is not, that makes me think FS is about over. Im still very curious to the percent of reservation holders that will actually take delivery. A lot of people were guessing 90%. My guess is closer to 50%. Maybe less...

New WhistlinDiesel: Cybertruck vs. F-150 Frame & Hitch Video

Just re-watched the video and this makes me really lose respect for him. It drops 2% in 10 yards of “driving”. By the time he’s in it after it breaks. It’s down another 1%. So it drops 3%. He’s not dumb. He’s grown a huge audience. They knew the casting was eventually breakable. It does seem...

New WhistlinDiesel: Cybertruck vs. F-150 Frame & Hitch Video

Agreed. While this probably won't happen, it should never happen. I don't think it would be too hard to fix but losing a trailer going 70mph is extremely dangerous. Seems like castings should probably be thicker and some sort of backup safety feature. Any cast metal is known to break and not...

Great First Towing Experience ~9000 lbs (Boat + Trailer)

It seems like a lot of people are hating on the cybertruck for towing. The fact is it seems to hold up great from videos and posts on here. Seems like the only thing that sucks is range. But most people don't even tow with their trucks. If you're traveling across the country an EV probably isn't...

New official Cybertruck Off-Road Mode Testing Video (Baja Mode, Wade Mode, etc.)

That is pretty impressive. Unfortunately a lot of people reviewed it before the update was out and it was pretty bad. And people will just recirculate that information. Making this video was a great move.

    AC Tire Inflator Suggestions?

I have the dewalt one. Works pretty good! Little small for 35" tires but have used it on my GMC 3500. If you can get a small plug in one it will be better, but it will also take up much more room.

Cybertruck handled 4000lbs of bricks in the bed at 65mph \ 490kwh

I’m saying keep it in normal ride height and load it until something breaks. A line or the suspension. Whatever is the weakest link. Needs to be a YouTuber with plenty of disposable income lol.

Cybertruck handled 4000lbs of bricks in the bed at 65mph \ 490kwh

Honestly anyone using a truck as a truck is going to put more weight than its rated for. When you're in that line of work sometimes you just do what you gotta do to move things along. Not saying its the safest or smartest thing. My father used to haul 22k lb 60' aerials plus a gooseneck so...

    Any ETA for reservations?

I placed my order for a tri-motor FSD on 6/2021 RN115112xxx. Probably going to switch to a Dual Motor w/o fsd due to the increase in price. I've done the estimator on findmyelectric.com and it says Feb 2025. That seems early to me I was thinking 2026. I'm assuming a lot have cancelled because...

Towing a CAT 304 Mini Excavator 13k-14k lbs

Truck seems to handle it fine. Would like to see more videos like this to get more opinions. The 11k max tow capacity instead of the promised 14k plus was a bummer.
