Tesla tells workers on Cybertruck line to take 3 days off

Thanks for that "news". I'm well aware that the Beta designation was dropped in March this year by the fearless leader when the FSD take rate was horrible and he thought FSD was finally beyond the BETA phase. I believe that the Supervised designation was created by fearless leader to increase...

Tesla tells workers on Cybertruck line to take 3 days off

I can't believe anyone really using FSD is convinced it is anywhere close to level 4 let alone level 5 autonomy. I dove over 200 miles with family on board yesterday and there were many "interventions". Some were only annoying but a few were inexplicable, downright dangerous moves that could...

Tesla tells workers on Cybertruck line to take 3 days off

That was easily the most content rich post of the day. Outside of your pure fantasy about 2026-27 FSD robot CT's, you forgot that Tesla is actually very concerned by the take rate of the now exhausted 2M res holders and they are scrambling to try and determine what exactly the real TAM is for...

    Battery depleted to 0%

I'm fortunate to have 2 Tesla Service/Delivery Centers within a 10-30 minute radius. One has the minimal number of chargers due to space limitations. The other Delivery Center has 30 Superchargers the majority of which are 250kw. They separated that facility and located a new modern Service...

    Battery depleted to 0%

You're toast, might as well start saving for that battery replacement ... J/K Kyle Conner (who knows a thing or two about EV batteries) runs them dry all the time. The GM's seem to be the vehicle that has the most issues with zero charge state but even those are not permanent issues. Based...

Cybertruck can now charge up to 325kW on select V4 Superchargers!

If true (and I assume it is) this is ridiculous. My 2018 Model X has that peak charge number. My 2021 Model Y consistently hit over 200kw peak with any v3 charger. I'd put in a service request just to see what they say ...

Cybertruck can now charge up to 325kW on select V4 Superchargers!

The real question is the charge curve, not just peak. If it only maintains 350 from 10-15% SOC then drops like a rock this could be a meh story ... Calling Kyle Conner

Update: Oh Well...Received $1800 additional Tesla Shop Credit?!

With Tesla, the vehicle software is usually very good but the customer communication software sucks. Priorities?

Tesla tells workers on Cybertruck line to take 3 days off

Yep and truth is, Tesla has no idea what the TAM numbers are for this controversial and unusual vehicle. Certainly the 500K/year numbers and even half that are unrealistic without dropping the prices 20%. A "traditional" truck buyer is not their market even with the political shift.

Tesla tells workers on Cybertruck line to take 3 days off

That sounds like gamblers rationalization but you clearly like the Kool-Aid.

Tesla tells workers on Cybertruck line to take 3 days off

Re-tooling the line, starting a new line to meet production targets, or just taking a pause to better evaluate the real TAM numbers at various price points? ... Probably ... If Tesla is anything they are certainly, like their leader, unpredictable.

    Rusted Out Cybertruck

That is the best part ... plus it is the only Cybertruck wrap that actually look much better. I actually looks useful. Should be a standard wrap offered by Tesla but just in case I lose my mind and order one, where is this available?

2024 Holiday Software Update brings Tesla App on Apple Watch, Cybertruck Updates and Much More!

How much of this update affects older HW3 vehicles? Specifically my 2018 Model X?

Tragic Cybertruck Accident in SF Bay Area Kills 3, Injures 1

Wow, give a bunch of underage drinking teens a 7,000 pound rocket ship with steer by wire tech that takes a good amount of getting used to and ... what could possibly go wrong? Seriously folks, it's the grieving parent owner of the Cybertruck that should be facing serious consequences for this...

Cybertruck subwoofer teardown reveals why stereo system's bass is so good

That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I had a couple of DD18's more than a decade ago and they were impressive but nothing measurable below 20Hz.

Cybertruck subwoofer teardown reveals why stereo system's bass is so good

And for most of the frequencies good car audio can be very good. The low frequencies are seldom experienced in commercial auto systems and the aftermarket systems are just over the top. The space needs to be engineered and treated for good sound. Doing deep bass (infrasonics) well in that small...

Cybertruck subwoofer teardown reveals why stereo system's bass is so good

" Low bass and sympathetic vibrations" refers to the phenomenon where a low-frequency bass sound can trigger vibrations in other nearby objects that naturally resonate at similar frequencies, essentially causing them to "vibrate in sympathy" with the bass sound, even if they aren't directly...

Cybertruck subwoofer teardown reveals why stereo system's bass is so good

Sorry, HT is the abbreviation for Home Theater for those of us really into it and is a hobby (obsession) other than BEV trucks so understandably foreign to most. :)

Cybertruck subwoofer teardown reveals why stereo system's bass is so good

That is very Tapped Horn like (look it up) bass setup. I've had several of those in my Home Theater over the years and the results with a smaller woofer and lot's of power can be impressive. I didn't even listen to the sound system in my 45 minute Cybertruck test drive as I was concentrating on...
