  1. Powershare Delayed Until Mid-2026

Tesla's engineers should study the Enphase Microinverters.. They require a stable 240V for 5 minutes, before they will start outputing power (when grid tied) If they can get the powerwalls communicating with the Cybertruck and the various gateway versions, they should be able to negotiate who...
  2. Tesla App v4.51.5 adds: Find My Car Locator Arrow, Charging Passport, Dog Mode Live View, Dashcam Tab, Photo Booth, Visualizer Upgrade

2025.44.25 or higher is for other vehicles (Model S, X, 3 and Y), Cybertruck is using 2025.38.X for its updates.. The update to FSD 14.2.1 might be what we get as our "Holiday Update" :-) I'm ok with that.
  3. Cybertruck 4 Life For You?

Sure, but that was a much earlier version "Tesla". I believe they would just suggest you trade in what you have, and buy an upgraded vehicle with the new features, it's very costly in terms of service center time to swap out batteries/processors, etc. The service centers are very busy, in fact...
  4. Cybertruck 4 Life For You?

They never have for any other vehicle, so doubtful.
  5. Cybertruck 4 Life For You?

Come back in 2028 and tell me I was wrong, Elon is always late, but he eventually delivers what he promises... He's promised a future of abundance, and Robotaxis and Optimus robots, he has not said much about any vehicles lately, other than the Roadster 2, which is now 5-6 years late, but at...
  6. Cybertruck 4 Life For You?

From someone who owned a 2013 Tesla Model S, and the plan was "keep it forever", it did not happen. There where serious early adopter issues, many of which haunted me forever, such as the PTC heater failing after the extended warranty ran out ($5,000 repair, as it took out the HV converter and...
  7. ALL OVER NEWS CYBERTRUCK FAILED? But I feel a win

Here is my take I was an Early Adopter of Tesla, I bought a 2013 Model S (VIN under 4000), way back on January 17th, 2013 (ordered in August of 2012). I drove down to Mawah, NJ to test drive it back then, it was a decision between a Nissan Leaf and the Model S.. glad I went with the Model S...
  8. Charging reduced to 24 A.

If you look above at post # 20, I stated it is an %8 range from nominal, so a 3 phase 120/208 service has an acceptable voltage range of 191.36V to 224.64V). You never stated you had 120/208. when I had my issue years ago, with the 80A charging on the dual charger Model S, I had 120/240...
  9. What do you do if you have a flat tire

The eBay seller I bought this used factory takeoff wheel, tire and TMPS with under 1,000 miles on it, for $450 + $60 shipping & tax, he has them availble on occasion (he is in Atlanta, and ships quickly via Fedex) keep your eye on this seller, that I bought mine from...
  10. Charging reduced to 24 A.

The dealer likely has 120/208 3-phase service, not the usual 120/240V single phase service that is what %99 of residential customers have. If you look at the "208V" number, they can go up to %8 above or below that voltage (191.36V to 224.64V) and still be in spec... again, it depends on what...
  11. Charging reduced to 24 A.

I also note that your Voltage was showing 201-204V, the power company needs to either upgrade the transformer feeding your house, or upgrade the service drop to larger wire, they are allowed about an %8 low/high voltage from the standard 240V, this puts the acceptable power company AC supply...
  12. PowerShare gateway smoking at install test

I believe the "smoke" is originating from the NFT (Neutral Forming Transformer), so maybe it is defective.. the NFT forms the neutral (white wire) to generate 120V for the loads, from the 240V the truck is putting out.. it is only used when the truck is supplying power to the house (garage)
  13. FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

Have done several drives with it, in the morning they were fine, pulled into my Dentists parking lot and parked.. then routed to my haircut place, again, it backed in and parked. Tonight was horrific. I live is a very busy area, people where attempting left turns and making lefts in front of...
  14. DIY: Custom Light Control for Tesla Factory Offroad Lightbar and/ or Aftermarket

I like what you've done to make it removable, and storable in the bed.. We are talking about replicating the OEM factory lightbar, so the Cybertruck is aware it exists, then you have more than simple "on/off" control, you can switch on the main center segment, and/or the ditch lights. Mongo...
  15. DIY: Custom Light Control for Tesla Factory Offroad Lightbar and/ or Aftermarket

Yes, you could replace their controller with yours. Of course that involves more expense and work than controlling it via Bluetooth. You would have to get into their controllers interface to the lightbar and figure out what they are sending it and how.. They are probably using a variant of...
  16. DIY: Custom Light Control for Tesla Factory Offroad Lightbar and/ or Aftermarket

looking for a few weeks the xkglow is the only bluetooth controllable lightbar availble for the Cybertruck, which makes it a good candidate to integrate with your ESP32/LIN bus interface, to see what's possible... Until manufacturers integrate LIN BUS control into their Cybertruck lightbars...
  17. DIY: Custom Light Control for Tesla Factory Offroad Lightbar and/ or Aftermarket

I believe I found another way to use Mongos design. If you use the lightbar from xkglow, it already has “app control” of the lightbar, to run LEDs or use it in DRL mode. Using Mongos LIN interface, to communicate with the Cybertruck, allows the truck to be aware of the lightbar/control it, for...
  18. DIY: Custom Light Control for Tesla Factory Offroad Lightbar and/ or Aftermarket

Looks like you built a custom PCB to fit in that off the shelf case you are using, is that using surface mount components? looks like it might be.. are the gerbers somewhere? or is JLPCB perhaps making it for you? curious. Thanks, Mitch
  19. DIY: Custom Light Control for Tesla Factory Offroad Lightbar and/ or Aftermarket

He has a 48V 50" lightbar, but it needs to mount on his MARS Expedition Rack, and it looks to be a sealed unit with a 2-wire 48V input, not sure it could be taken apart and get to various segments, maybe one large PCB inside, hard to tell without tearing it apart. I'm looking for a permanent...
  20. DIY: Custom Light Control for Tesla Factory Offroad Lightbar and/ or Aftermarket

Is the aftermarket light bar on the left lightshow, one you custom built, with (6) of the $10 Amazon lights, or is that a commercialy available model you modified? If a standard aftermarket light bar, which one? Thanks :)
