  1. Turn bankrupt gas stations into supercharger locations

Oh, and my point was that someone wrote that the gas stations get most of their profit from the non-gas sales. Now think about it....Gas stations are part of a fixed price community concerning gasoline...So does anyone believe that the profits from the aspect of their business where they can fix...
  2. Production Cybertruck Size Reduced By 3% With a More Level Center Line and Lower Window Sills [Update: Interior Reduced 1.5%]

I I agree with you completely. The inches are going to come from the engineers identifying dead spaces between integral parts and compartments. the best example I could think of would be the footwells in the front seat area. Sliding the steering wheel and seat forward along with the foot well...
  3. Turn bankrupt gas stations into supercharger locations

Gasoline is a racket. There is no real market competition. Do any of you really think that gasoline prices aren't controlled by the major players? I tried at one time to believe that the gasoline market wasn't rigged. But then you see the barrel price go up 20% and then the gas pump price goes...
  4. Cybertruck to Enter Baja Endurance Race With All New Air Suspension Says Musk?!

yeah. And they have stella not because the Trucks make a no noise. The Motorcyclists can't hear over the noise from their own bikes. So it would be a non-issue either way.
  5. Turn bankrupt gas stations into supercharger locations

Small groups of superchargers will be EVERYWHERE. it won't be just one being out of the way. All retail centers can drop in 5 chargers. malls will have larger numbers. But I can see Fast food places having enough to take care of quite a bit of the need. Stand alone Super charger filling...
  6. Turn bankrupt gas stations into supercharger locations

Here is how charging would work at hotels. First, the chargers maybe would not be Superchargers This will stop local traffic from overwhelming them, IF that is really an issue. But the model could be set-up to have super chargers within the parking lot only accessible to hotel guests registered...
  7. Turn bankrupt gas stations into supercharger locations

and those "remediated" gas stations on prime real estate are PRIME real estate. So do some math and get back to me.... How much more will they charge to "fill-up" because they are "prime" real estate? And then again, how much more will they charge because they need to make a living selling...
  8. Wisconsin

And then the title of the thread is changed so several posts make no sense.
  9. Turn bankrupt gas stations into supercharger locations

Gas station can be re-used. The OP thought that it would be a simple process of slapping down some UNNEEDED super chargers with little interruption. The truth is when the gas station applies for the permits the government will survey the site and require the pollution be remediated. And that...
  10. Plaid Cybertruck Is A Thing Says Musk!

I've read too much about this "plaid Cyber" issue. But I seem to remember he referred to Plaid in the Cyber being, "more than just the tri-motor" (paraphrasing). So I believe Cyber will be offered at a "Plaid" level. And if I were Elon I would always have all my Teslas "Custom".
  11. Wisconsin

You mean true "siconi". Pronounced "Psycho-ni"
  12. Wisconsin

Do all people in Wisconsin spell it "Wisiconsin"?
  13. Tesla Battery Day Announced For September 15 (Predictions anyone?)

Dang it. I had hail damage last year. And hurricane season starts in June. So I was waiting on Battery Day to see if there was a serious positive bump about batteries to see if I'd go with a tesla solar roof and powerwalls. As it is now it really isn't close to sensible with the solar roof only...
  14. Cybertruck wishlist - options or ideas you'd like to see available?

For fun..could someone take post#241 and a few other "wishes" and make a poll where we each have 4 picks and let's see which are the most desirable?
  15. Plaid Cybertruck Is A Thing Says Musk!

When I read that Our Savior Elon will have a "Plaid Cyber" I did not think that it would be something that I or the masses could also own. You guys sure are making a huge assumption(s). And another thing..."Plaid" in his mind might be the three motor powertrain. And another thing... There is...
  16. Plaid Cybertruck Is A Thing Says Musk!

I appreciate you taking the time to tell me that.
  17. Factory Ladder Bed Rack For Cybertruck Spotted in Reveal Night Image

yeah I was thinking of those from the beginning of this thread, but you know what? I kinda feel the front support for the rack should rest on the apex of the cab, and be anchored there by those tab/slots.
  18. Tesla Battery Day Announced For September 15 (Predictions anyone?)

Everyone went with the obvious. I think buying a big piece of dirt, or more than one, is paramount. Mines.
  19. Poll: Which CYBRTRK configuration(s) did you pre-order, if at all

Once the rumor about there possibly not being a 1m rear-wheel drive model was circulated I put an order in for the other two. it's only a total of $300, and I will now have the ability to pick whichever one has the performance I think is the best value. If the single motor becomes a Dual motor...
