I would absolutely love something like this. My case is:
- San Diego charges more than 50 cents per kwh
- My work's parking is in the full sun, so cabin overheat is most of my drain (equals the actual commute in the summer I'm finding)
- I spend time putting an interior windshield cover on...
looks like only 4 miles due to sentry, try changing it so the app won't toggle it off.
most of it is in standby, why did you cut out the stuff to the right that says what it is?
looks like they paid a little over $3k ($3,720.00), and all you get is $1k IF the lightbar is not available by the end of the year. Considering some people already got one, I don't see this as likely at all.
You get the exact same deal for the powershare, $2,500 store credit OR the installer...
Nobody seems to notice the "new" horn. I've used it twice with no change from the other driver. Once at a green light where the person didn't wake up. It took someone behind me coming around and honking to wake 'em.
Thanks for the updates guys!
Sounds like the external cover does the bulk of the work which makes sense, I’m thinking it’s a sure bet with inside and outside covers and sentry/cabin overheat off. We’ll see where the solar goes but although I’m not super concerned with vandalism/theft, leaving a...
wow yeah that sucks. It's just scammy, Tesla engineering seems very disconnected from these other business units. You went out on a limb and gave them money up front for a product (that IMO was never going to ship, just a PR thing to cover how bad the range is vs. what they claimed it would be)...
Not necessary, depends on your use. I have a rubbery one, I think I ended up going with tripleA liners.
- prevents sliding of cargo
- can dump heavy/sharp objects on it without worry
- peace of mind for not damaging bed, or spilling nasty stuff on it
I sleep in the bed when camping though, so...
Thank you for running that test for me.
I am getting more interested in some sort of solar setup, but I figure by the time I get something it will have been cheaper to pay for an RV site nearby and plug in for the week . But where's the fun in that?
