Source? Where is this from? Did you get this out of the original reveal in 2019? I hope not, lol... But to answer your question: thats either a gold bag, or a bbq grill.
Dont forget the new update, where the carwash mode closes the cabin air pathway, so that your cabin air filter doesn't get stinky. By the way, if you've ever had to replace your cabin air filter due to that famous "elon Musk" , this is why..
I think the hummer's proven that we have not reached the point of a second stage yet... But an equation would be nice to have, agreed :P
60 to 100-kWh batteries range from 350 to 600 kg. If the CT wights 4500kg, thats about 12% of the total vehicle weight. a 200kw pack might be 20% . I know...
yup. people forget that NCM chemistry has a usable range of about 60%. You don't want to go over 80% or below 20% often. 60% of 300 is 180 miles, and if you half that for efficiency ( spirited driving or cold weather) a 300 mile truck only has a realistic range of 90 miles. WITHOUT towing.
The porche is not known for it's efficiency..
a 1000 volt system enables tesla to get more power from the motors without them overheating, it improves efficiency marginally. Think 1-3%.
This is a pretty cool video, the guy being interviewed has a channel with all kinds of motor...
350 miles is the absolute bare minimum, and even that is questionable. 300 is not enough, and i will pay through the nose for every extra mile i can get.
I blame the fact that my M3 is on it's third HV battery in under 70k miles, on my tiny 50KW SR pack
Again, everything is relative. From my experience, winter means about 25% less range. But for me, i actually get more range in the winter.. Cuz in the summer im already around 40% efficiency, driving like a bat out of hell. In the winter i have to slow down, and my efficiency actually improves..
I know i've been sharing a lot of "from Baldey's experience" lately, but hear me out.. That is no normal vape, my man's high in that trunk  (timestamped video)
i just had a service appointment yesterday, and the tech let slip that there will be 30 trucks delivered at the event. Though i think it was a slip of the tongue, still a fun data point to speculate on..
this has been discussed to death in the original video's thread, but no. i do not believe that you are. usually that number (+50mi) indicates how much you've added this session, and there is no way of knowing when they started.
I still believe in my estimate of 200-243kwh based on the 77kw and...
You are referring to the differences of opinion on if Tesla factors in charging curves to the charge time remaining time readout. The truth is somewhere in between: they try to estimate the curve, but fail by about 50%.
i dont know what your profile picture has anything to do with anything? i...
I agree. And just to be clear, i said 243 kilowatt hours is the top end, ~+200 kWh more likely. Not miles.
Milage unknown, and will depend on efficiency. Efficiency will depend on driving scenario, and not whatever lie, excuse me best-case estimate, that the EPA is given.
I've already laid out the evidence: (77kw * 55m) / 0.29% = 243 KWH total
But the math is funky, and we don't know the details. 250 is the top end for sure. I think 200kw is a more reasonable pack to hope for. So call me bias, but i still have reason to hold out hope.
I think the reason they...
