I’m a little late on this thread but my wipers have worked fine—more than fine, actually. I occasionally have a little spot that gets smudgy but a little extra wiper fluid and it goes away.

I read in a previous post that the gap creates a vacuum that sucks in dust. I *think* cracking open the tonneau would eliminate that vacuum and solve the problem. I spent a hundred bucks and a few hours trying to plug that gap and in the end, the answer was just to crack the tonneau. ??‍♂️
