Runaround for Wiper and Sail Recall: No parts available till Late August

If you have data or a link showing a high rate of failure, please link it. I'm afraid for my life. :D Otherwise, i'll wait until Tesla alerts me to come in to replace my perfectly working wiper motor.

Runaround for Wiper and Sail Recall: No parts available till Late August

Again, i highly doubt they can only produce 185 wiper motors per day. Who knows, they may be able to have the supplier produce 50,000 in a day and they are likely are already enroute to svc centers. Yes wipers that don't work are dangerous but they have not failed except for maybe this one you...

Runaround for Wiper and Sail Recall: No parts available till Late August

They are producing roughly 185 trucks per day. This amount of production is not preventing parts from getting to service centers, particularly if this issue is a critical safety issue, which it does not appear to be as I've heard about exactly zero wiper motors failing.

Runaround for Wiper and Sail Recall: No parts available till Late August

I think you may be giving yourself the runaround. :D :D If the parts are not available then the parts are not available. ?‍♂️ If no safety issue with the wiper then it's probably not worth worrying about with the wiper motor to be replaced in the coming months. I did ask my svc center and they...

Front License Plate - what are you doing about it?

Here in NY it's required but i do not mount it. In my area, police tend to look the other way as long as you do not drive like a jerk.

    Ordered Cybertent 4/30 - Hasn't shipped yet.

my is en-route to my service center(ordered 6/22). It's taking a long time which i assume is due to many people ordering these with the voucher. I'm not thrilled about it as i was hoping to use it for July 4th activities, but what can ya do.

    Beware of Valets

I am very aware of Valets, so much so that i'd never valet any vehicle that is at all unique, or, one that is any more valuable than a 2005 Chevy Malibu with 100k miles.

    Cybertent install

Interesting. Mine is enroute to my service center and will be installed there. I actually would prefer installing it myself. How long did yours take from order to arrival at the service center?

What if you use the $2500 credit and return partial order?

Not possible. "Items purchased using this voucher cannot be returned, but may be exchanged within 30 days as long as it meets the return condition requirements detailed in Tesla Shop policies. "

Need emergency door release cover for passenger side

I've not had anyone grab the secondary release. Everyone who has been in my vehicle has asked how to open the door. I think you should recommend your passengers drink some of this.. :D

Just picked up CT yesterday and 100% charge is only 318.

Ah, interesting, did not know that. I've never had miles displayed in my Teslas, so i guess that makes sense why i never noticed. :D

Android Google Pixel 7pro issues with Bluetooth Lock/Unlock

Pixel 7 pro here, I've had this happen twice in two months. I chalk it up to android weirdness. If you haven't, ensure your Tesla app is set to unrestricted in app settings. It might help reduce the frequency at least.

Just picked up CT yesterday and 100% charge is only 318.

FS range is estimated at 318 miles with the AT wheels/tires, not 340. The range displayed on your touchscreen is also an estimate. Actual range will depend on your driving habits.

Range anxiety from a first time EV buyer.

You'll realize after a short time range anxiety is silly. You do have to retrain yourself to understand "fueling" at home with EVs vs ICE where you fuel at gas stations. It's simply a matter of being proactive. In a very short time you'll see how superior it is to always leave the house fully...

Tesla changed the Powershare benefit for FS CT orders - from $4000 credit to $2500 voucher

i have, and ordered. To be installed soon. It's definitely overpriced out of pocket as a single line item, but in place of the powershare HW, I'll take it.
