I totally agree with this. They put a giant screen in the vehicle for the purpose of controlling said vehicle. Yet, if I look at it to change a setting or update my navigation for even a second, the vehicle freaks out.

It happens when still and when moving. Once it gets faster it seems to go away.

No, that’s more of a whine. Mine is lower pitched. When I first heard it I thought it was the A/C blowing weird. But then I turned everything off and it was still there. Seems worst around 45mph or so, but I hear it all speeds. Also seems to get louder the longer I drive.

Hard to say, there’s everything from wind noise, to a/c noise, to bearing noise. I could see where it could sound like a bearing though.

I assume you’re referring to the grinding noise. The service manager last time told me he could replace the drive unit but it might be even louder since it’s a “normal” noise. Seems like if it were normal, they would all make it. I don’t get why they are so averse to replacing things.
