There appears to be a power station (nat gas) across the river to the south and the southern portion of the Tesla property is wetlands. A noticeable feature in this area is many ditches to collect water. I suspect there will be a fair amount of earth moving to prepare this site.
1. Robot to wash and plug-in CT, maybe help load vault and bring in groceries. (now that my kids are grown)
2. special lenses over the side/rear view displays to fake them into thinking what you see is far away and not a foot or so. -So the retina doesn't need to work so hard.'
3. fold flat rear...

when you get your Tesla they have folks there that show you features correct? I know my wife and I would like an orientation. The Tesla center in Tempe is on a fairly busy road and I would rather get familiar with the features and feel on quiet, familiar roads.
Navigating Austin, then San...
just reading tea leaves and animal entrails... But didn't Elon endure production hell at one point of his life? I wonder if part of the pre-order rational is assessing probable demand. The pre-orders, it can be argued, may be strong out of the gate with Tesla fans etc. but sustaining demand...
As I recall another difference between 301 and 304L is that 301 can achieve full hard with cold working and the other alloys not as much (half hard?).
yeah, found this as well...

304L is a great all purpose SS. The L means it has lower carbon and this improves weldability.
Musk007 is correct that there could be changes but the possibilities at this point are hair splitting.
such a long trip from Austin to El Paso and beyond. At least there is at least five SC.
Yes, I would do it but spent the night in Ft Stockton, El Paso, and maybe Tucson.
I am sure they have considered their options the past few years and we are slowly becoming aware of the final decision.
BTW, they have made Cybertruck(s) somewhere and may have a fleet that have been used for all types of testing. It may be possible that production issues are being worked out...
304L is good stuff but may not have the ballistic specs of full hard 301. I certainly am not going to care too much as it is more important to solve 99%+ problems than 1% silly problem.
good video. We all know that there may be some some changes to the CT as the engineering is finalized for production vehicles. Most of us hope these are cool features but crash tests and laws may end up forcing some changes we may not like. oh well.
can't beat 'em, chase 'em.
I recall reading (here?) about how how Tesla has vision and executes ($$$/R&D) towards that vision and achieves it goals. Ford and other auto companies spend $$$ on marketing and businessperson BS.
Putting a stupid amount of power in a mustang can be done but it is...
most gigafactory design is probably boilerplate by now. So the time to make a factory in Texas is likely between making it in Germany and China. I notice that Tesla did not waste much time dealing with a school district. The other approvals will probably be quicker.
I think battery day will...
