Oh I thought it would have more functionality like the OEM Roof Light, like dimming to use as an on road running light or driving light.
Is this tied to the Frunk Power Feed then?
I used this wrap to change my OEM Roof Lights to Amber. I run my Ditch Lights on 1% every time I drive to act like...
I’m planning to detach the legs and mount the base with the heads on this lift so when I open the tonneau I can simply raise the lift with the remote. Basically just the torso and head are exposed above the Tailgate.
The
The too of this lift was around 24” at its lowest and it needs to be less than 21” to close the Tonneau. Going to return this one and try this lift table instead. https://a.co/d/8i597vH
I can’t wait to to see your results Mickey Thompson ET Street SS tires! I’ve been waiting for someone to post some 0-60 and 1/4 Mile times with some sticky tires!
We could probably find some type of Arduino Microswitch mounted near the Tonneau cover so that as soon as the Tonneau is opened to a specified clearance distance power is applied to the Lift and animatronic Cerberus so we could launch the whole thing from the Tesla App remotely or while driving...
I’m sure we could use either Rasberry Pi or Arduino to create some type of Macro Functionality switch or trigger.
I have never taken the dive down the rabbit hole but I’m sure someone on this forum is familiar with programming one of these platforms...
Ken- what was your experience with the fog?
Did you have a lot of sticky residue after using it?

I ended up ordering this one. We’ll see if I can adapt it so everything can be retracted and stowed under the tonneau cover.

I wonder if we remove the legs we could mount it to an electric lift like this so we could easily just open the tonneau cover and let the dogs out.
Someone oughta’ come up with some type of motorized extension/ retraction mechanism so we can stow it and close the tonneau when driving and then open it and deploy when stopped.
