Electrek has been known to cherry pick information to create clickbait articles. However I could see where Tesla would selectively recall early production builds to proactively repair manufacturing deficiencies.
I just got my VIN today (4th of July) too. 3/21 order changed to grey on 5/7. I kept the original AT tires.
Under your vehicle details it should show similar to the screenshot above if you have the original AT tires. I think the AS tires say something about "core wheels" and all-season tires...
I got my VIN this morning. 7G2CEHED8RA021XXX
3/21 order changed to grey on 5/7 with AT tires. Pleasant way to start my 4th of July holiday!
I did my usual app check this morning and noticed there was a new prompt to accept Tesla Vision. But the VIN was there under the vehicle details page...
An under and behind screen cubby/organizer/storage bin. There's lots of similar products for the S/X/3/Y, including your own that attach above and below via magnets.
In the sun, the grey panels (and seats) appear much lighter than expected from the website photos. The website is a much closer match to the nighttime pics posted earlier.
I'm happy and will be keeping my grey. Thanks for raising my anticipation level even higher.
The baby wipes are also the Tesla recommended way to clean the vegan leather. I've used another brand of baby wipes for years to clean almost everything on my Y's interior except the display and windows. So it's truly a one-stop solution to most problems.
How much energy someone's home uses at night is entirely based on their own circumstances. However, a PW has ~13kWh of power. CT can provide a variable amount of it's capacity for PS to supplement PW. Say, for discussion purposes you allocate 70% to PS = 84 kWh. 84+13=97 kWh total available...
A PW system (with or without PV panels) qualifies for federal (and certain state) tax credit incentives. PS does not.
PW (with PV panels) will allow you to run completely off the grid and allow the PV panels to re-charge the system when the grid is down. PS with PV will not recharge while...
Use the vault storage bin. A video from a while back showed that it held a lot of ice, so I would think you have at least 10 gals.
It has a drain plug that could likely be fashioned into some form of valve and piping system.
Thank you @DoberManPin-Sure for posting here and sharing the videos. You have re-affirmed my commitment to my choice of grey over white for my AWD order. Thank you also for increasing my impatience for waiting for my 3/21/24 order to arrive! July - September can't get here soon enough.
The limitation on Homelink and the cybertruck could be physics. The homelink transmitter is installed in the frunk in my Model Y, but in the cybertruck, I would guess the HFS blocks the RF frequencies necessary for Homelink to function.
those who really need homelink can purchase one of the...
Only problem with that is all of our order agreements specifically state "Foundation Series" so they have to follow through on those agreements at the agreed upon price. If they "convert" them, then that requires either the pricing to change (not going to happen) or in the "conversion"...
I changed my 3/21 FS AWD order to grey (w/ AT Tires) when it was announced on May 7. I didn't have a VIN before changing and still don't have a VIN yet.
I'll be following along here and best of luck to everyone waiting! First person to get one, please post lots of pictures!
