@ProtectaClear Care to comment on the review and other comments in this thread? The things mentioned in here are giving me second thoughts on purchasing the kit.
The listing says "1 x storage bag" is included. I'm sure it's not the grey duffel shown in the picture, but Tesla really should remove that picture or add a caption to make it clear that the bag shown is not the "storage bag" included.
Sorry if this was posted elsewhere in this thread, but how you do you know when your VIN is assigned? Is everyone just checking the app daily for their VIN assignment, does the app send you a notification, or does Tesla send an email?
TIA!!
EverBrite sounds like an opportunity for a Cybertruck kit "plus/premium" option, to cover the hard plastics on the exterior. Or is it ok to use ProtectaClear on those too?
The Gateway hardware is included. I'd definitely push back on this. It's been clearly stated on the FS accessories detail. Also, see post #63 below.
Regarding the HVAC soft start. I didn't consider that you probably have a larger unit, so I guess that makes sense. My ductless mini split...
Why does the 4th line item ($1,931) say "includes the Tesla Gateway 3V"? The wording implies the price includes it, yet the part is provided by Tesla, so it should not be included. (meaning they're overcharging you) on this line.
Also, why do you need line #3 for "AC Soft Start"? I have a...
I have a slightly different scenario and question. I placed my order last week and completed everything except for the initial financing application - thinking that it'll be at least a couple of months before I even get close to delivery and I don't want the financing "offer" to expire and Tesla...
That last pic gives me serious Knight Rider KITT vibes, but in truck form, especially with those rims. Can you imagine if there's a way to retrofit (or maybe a hidden easter egg) on the front LED in red?
It will be very interesting to see what happens after January 1st when the tax credit shifts to the point of sale rebate process and what position Tesla takes via it's website disclosures.
Regardless of the process to apply the credit at point of sale, there will still be a process to claim the...
You bring up a good point, however notice the difference in how the items are itemized. There are specific descriptions of what the items are that are "included" and a person could believe that "included" means that it's included in the vehicle purchase price (vs. an ambiguous term like...
I believe there may be JUST enough ambiguity in how the vehicle purchase contract is documented (by listing the tires, etc. as "included") to allow the taxpayer to make a reasonable position the founders edition is merely aftermarket accessories and "dealer markup" that doesn't disqualify you...
