I wanted to register in Nevada and take delivery in CA. I was told that was not possible and you must take delivery in the state where you intend to register. It may be different in NY/NJ so you’ll need to confirm with a sales or customer service rep.

Other than seeing the VIN show up in the app today - I received no communication from Tesla so far.

They never gave me an ETA when I placed my order. If they did, I missed it and it doesn’t appear anywhere in my order docs. Odd but true. But it’s been 5 months since config. Longer than many who placed an order after me. You gonna do a wrap?

My delivery center is Irvine.

We both got our VINs today and we’re both in SoCal. Where or how did you get a delivery date? I paid in full in the app and I can’t confirm the Tesla insurance without the delivery date. What did you do? Did you receive some other communication? Thnx

Holy shit - after posting here 2 days ago complaining that it’s been 5 months and no VIN - I just got my VIN! Is Tesla monitoring this Board??

It would be super helpful if people would include the build they ordered when posting the date of config and the date of VIN assignment. It appears the timing on VIN assignment for AWD and Beast orders is very different from one another.
