Seems like those that have reported it have been using a wall charger at 48A. I'm not sure if people are seeing the problem crop up with the mobile connector at 32A or 12A on 110 volts.

It is but I think it's funny that a mentally ill person is spending time and money printing and mailing these to people. Now that I type this out, it's kinda sad.

The Cybertruck is built in Austin, TX and the owner lives in Austin, TX. It was a common thing not too long ago to be proud of owning and driving an American made vehicle. Americans should be proud to buy and support American products made in the USA.

People feel anonymous and protected inside their cars. It emboldens them to do stuff they wouldn't dare do outside their vehicle.

I like the option on or off. For me, I'll keep them off and in 8-10 years after the wheels are banged up, I can put my covers back on and change up the look with like new covers.

And then brake dust, dirt, salt and grime get between the tape and the contact points to scratch the wheels. :(

I know right! The Cybertruck is the most visible and noticeable vehicle on the road. It sticks out and makes people look at it. Probably more so than a loud, red sports car.

Good info. I followed the directions too and found that the results were spotty. Went over each panel a second time and that worked to get it to a like new finish. My CT had road salt on it for almost a month without a wash and I expect that this would be a once per spring around here after...

People look at me funny when I pull up and start filling a few gas cans for the toys and tools. One woman even took out her phone to record so I'm sure I'm on some CT hate forum out there for my actions with a caption like "Does he know what he's even doing?!?!?". :D
