I’ve had my beast for a while now, cheetah stance has always been a thing, you don’t have to wait for it to complete to launch, but you’ll get a better launch with it. If you noticing a slower launch, it could be because its colder, does the battery have a snowflake next to it?
Im thinking it uses the old school horn by modulating the voltage and sending a square wave of some time. (This is why everything being controlled by software is awesome). The sound is much louder than anything I’ve heard the speaker used for the novelty sounds.
That’s a shame, I would think there would be a setting for that. Such an arbitrary time, I’m sure there are tons of use cases where you’d want to leave a reverse camera on for longer than that.
Yeah, lots of power draw, I'd would almost always count on any of my systems running the alternator at some point. The 4000W RMS, never did, I paired it with 2, 2 Farad Capacitors, and never had an issue. That's why I wanted to setup a separate chargeable battery system for my Model S. One...
When Tesla first added dual motors to the Model S they said they noticed it gave better efficiency having all the motors engaged, I would assume the same would be true for a tri motor(maybe not to the same extent) but I’m betting they are all engaged while on the highway.
I’d like to see a...
You will never regret getting the CyberBeast, you can always put it in old man mode, and putt around(You won't). But you probably will think to yourself, "I love the AWD, but I kinda wish I had gotten the CB". I did the same thing with my Model S, Always regret not getting the Plaid. Loved...
That is California, which is so highly regulated I'd never be able to live in that state., but the law states "Headlights" must be installed at a height. A light bar could be classified as a marker light or a DRL. and the only thing I could find for those regulations in California by searching...
So I'm curious how the is worded in these states. What defines an off-road light. What prevents a car manufacturer from having day time running lights on the roof? I see trucks with cab markers, most of them amber in color, but some I see are white. At 1% brightness, I classify this light bar...
Use a plastic tool to pop off the plastic around the button that opens the door. Then behind that there is a 10mm bolt, remove that. Then the B-pillar insert will swing up and out, there are wires connected at the top, so just carefully lift it without removing it. Also very important: roll...
I hate the wheel covers, I’ve always hated hubcaps for any vehicle, I want to see as much of the rotor and calipers as physics will allow, but this picture just made me double think about picking mine up. something about the lighting and angle makes this look bad ass. So good.
Nothing at all, couple of bed D-rings, and a foundation badge, that I and most others have covered up with a wrap(I put a replacement on top, but you could do that too). I do have FSD, premuim connectivity(this is awesome for the kids to watch Netflix on road trips), PowerShare, and a lightbar...
The Beast has motors on each of its rear wheels, so there is no rear differential. There are debates on whether it is better or not, it is. The individual motors and just act as a single locked motor, or apply more torque to a tire that needs it, say in a turn while a locking diff would cause...
