Yeah, normally 48amps 11kw on a Tesla wall charger.
Service is booked for two weeks away. Nearest service center apparently can't perform the repair. So I have two weeks to see if this becomes a fatal failure and then maybe a 125mile journey to the nearest SC that can fix it. Lame.
I think it's a matter of when will it happen for everyone. I've been following this issue for a while. Luckily I'm well within my warranty but this failure rate is unacceptable and should be fixed regardless of mileage
Pay per mile. pay per Kw, what about insurance per mile? Tax per mile? I really am sick to death of these micro transactions being baked into modern commerce. "Death by a thousand cuts".
To say Toyota, Chevy etc would resolve it is not true. I recently bought my wife a RAV4 to drive+fill with trash. Driving out of the dealership i noticed a shitty hissing/gassing sound from the air vents. Several back and forth visits with dealership service, sales person I was told it was per...
I was towing the other day and noticed the noise again. When I took my foot off the accelerator the noise went away. Made me change from wind noise to motor noise now. Today when I lifted off the accelerator the noise was still present. I wonder if it's got something to do with regen in the...
Shame I'm not still in LA. I love detailing my truck (especially brightening the SS while keeping the brushed effect) and would of gladly done yours for some $. It's probably the most rewarding vehicle to clean when done right.
Agreed. And yet we get a cabin photo booth "feature" that will gather dust in the toy box. It always makes me question who is making these dev decisions. There are so many other valuable functional features dev cycles could be applied to rather than pushing out something like this.
Honestly, I think this is something software related. When I first got my truck it never made the noise. I recall at some point last year getting an update (can't remember which version) and that sound appeared. I tried asking Wes on X if something had been done with the HVAC system in that...
Just tested out this evening after being away for a while. Ngl, feels like a bit of a regression on this version. Multiple stabs, wobbly indecisive steering scenarios, parking was a complete failure. Not complaining, I just think it puts confidence back and therefore will take time for trust to...
Sorry, I was just trying to be funny. I fail regularly.
I just have a plain ol hitch. What I did do however is buy one of these to really help tighten things while towing. I found the CT hitch point quite loose. Does kind of further the aesthetic point of this thread but function over form...
