I believe the cost differential is really minimal overall.
Its about flexibility and not being locked in to the long-term device use requirement.
Also, FPL's Powershare allows only one vehicle mated to it (rare instance I get it).
So there are tradeoffs between going with, and not going with...
After the update, I tried opening the glovebox and the CT responded, "I wouldn't do that if I were you Dave."
I didn't pay any attention to it, but now I have a big glowing red light in the center of my command screen.
Probably a new feature.
I went with vinyl then satin PPF on top layer.
PPF won't prevent dents, but the product I have is very hydrophylic and slick. Bugs have much harder time to stick and future scratches (within reason) are self-healing via heat gun.
Yes it's more money, but it will last longer than regular...
You bring up a great point.
I get the "not 100% unless you really need it", but would daily charging to 85% be diffferent to battery pack longevity than 80%? 75%? Is 80% an arbitrary "we gotta pick some standard so y let's go with that" benchmark?
I believe most here will tell you the same...go to an experienced shop that has done Model Xs.
Same sized big windshield single piece that translates well to CT. Don't let an outfit practice on yours.
