  1. Anyone else's vault divider's center lift plate not function properly?

There are a few threads on this issue of you search. I did have the same problem and the root cause is the bed panel assembly. Some had it corrected by replacing the floor section, that did not work for me the issue was the side section alignment had to be corrected to allow the floor to fit...
  2. New Redesigned Aero Wheel Covers Installed!

Just got this tonight, seems like they are real.
  3. Motorcycle transport range impact

Thanks for the feedback! I agree the extra wide walk up ramp or two ramps is a safety must, I did one for the test and it almost cost me dearly. That cable extension is mandatory for tailgate down in my experience. I forgot that was mentioned, I would definitely purchase. The trailer drop is a...
  4. Motorcycle transport range impact

If you are driving below 70 I think you will no problem getting over 200 miles even with the full fairing on the Road Glide. I have had a couple close calls when towing with X over the years, but was always able to resolve by paying attention to the data the vehicle presents and slowing down...
  5. Towing Test run with Ironhorse 1-Bike FlipTop Motorcycle Trailer

That is a great result! I have been considering building an aero enclosure to see how much better it would over an exposed bike, based on what I recall from my fluid dynamics class closing that gap between the bed and the trailer is the key. I would suggest doing a deliberate cruise controlled...
  6. Motorcycle transport range impact

I tested the Cybertruck with motorcycles on a trailer and in the bed. I used a highway loop about 15 miles north and south at 75 MPH on cruise control. The primary result was confirming my life experience the average American can not drive and should not have a license. Absolute disaster trying...
  7. Slight Vibration over 60mph

Company owned stores, good and bad. In this case it did not help. I have owned Teslas since 2015 and the service levels have gone up and down over time. Best up until M3 came out and overwhelmed capacity. Improved a bit but has gone down again in last 1.5 years after earnings call where they...
  8. Slight Vibration over 60mph

I had sudden onset vibrations, waited a couple days, made Tesla service appt, and problem gradually got better, but never as good as car at delivery. Two tires had detached foam. Tesla would only remove foam and rebalance, for which they charged me. I was told to contact Goodyear directly for...
  9. Tested the Off-Road Mode Update on black trails and it's EPIC

Did you purchase the flag mount or make it? A link or shared prints/parts list would be appreciated if you don’t mind sharing. Thanks!
  10. OTA Software Update 2024.14.3 now available (Off-Road Mode, Locking Diffs, Etc.) -- RELEASE NOTES!

My recollection was rear steer was designed to be 10 degrees max. I heard it was 3 degrees when shipments started, and a previous update in Q1 achieved 7.1 degrees. This update to 8.8 also increased front 1 degree and I do not think that was ever discussed.
  11. Multi Tesla (and now Cybertruck) owner review - including off road modes

I read all the directions and watched the videos from the company again and was able to get really good results. Still got bad results as well. It is a Goldilocks situation with the retailers going wayyyy too thin, what feels like too thick is right and ridiculously thick will run and not...
  12. Multi Tesla (and now Cybertruck) owner review - including off road modes

The shop used about 25% of a quart with two coats. Still have rainbow streaks and not smooth in many areas. I have added additional coats in several panels to try different methods. Rewatched video from Protectaclear and thought their website said 75% of quart for single coat. I think this is...
  13. Multi Tesla (and now Cybertruck) owner review - including off road modes

on the highway the Cayenne noticeably more nimble. When CT is in sport mode (lower suspension 8,5” clearance and focused handling) it does awesome hitting gaps in lane changes and corners ramps at speed. If in comfort (10” clearance and relaxed handling) highway lane changes still great (it auto...
  14. Multi Tesla (and now Cybertruck) owner review - including off road modes

Chicago Auto Pros. I have had several Teslas and other cars tinted and the Red Vinyl put on the motorcycle in the picture above. Always great work. They did a full video shoot when they did my truck.
  15. Multi Tesla (and now Cybertruck) owner review - including off road modes

Correct, in Baja mode it allows wheel Spin and showers of dirt/rocks. 100% rear is like driving my old mustang in the rain, it will spin the fronts as well.
  16. Multi Tesla (and now Cybertruck) owner review - including off road modes

Definitely feels higher than the X. X felt small after driving CT for a week. X was best car I ever drove for comfort and visibility as I have a tall torso. Not as much headroom in CT but still good. If the visors could fold out of way reasonably glass forward would be similar. I removed...
