  2. Rear tires wear out super fast on AWD Cybertruck, could it be FSD?

Had a dangerous event on my 2025 CT. I left on a road trip on 1/1 with about 6000 miles on the odometer. I checked the wear on the tires at the time and wear seemed normal and even on all 4 tires. After about 4000 miles on the trip I checked and the rears had worn bald! I used fsd over 90% of...
  3. Tesla’s 4680 battery supply chain collapses

Um that suppliers chemistry may no longer needed and other suppliers with the correct chemistry are taking up contract. If I recall during battery day they mentioned changes in chemistry along the road map and even moving to their own production at some point Electrik is pure loser communist...
  4. What software would you want on the cybertruck?

    1) homelink. I know the system doesnt have hardware for this itself but there must be some Bluetooth to home link dong you could get the system to control. 2) voice control reporting of road conditions. Grok report a speed trap. Grok report a car stopped on right side of the road. Grok report...
  5. 2025 Holiday Software Update now live (and installing on Cybertrucks)!

Can you imagine not only crowd sourcing reports but also using the AI to identify cops, stopped cars by side of the roads, traffic, construction, hazards, and have voice report reinforcement confirming that the pothole is in the left lane, or the middle lane has road debris, or a car is stopped...
  6. What features would get you to upgrade your existing Cybertruck to a newer model?

Is there a product you use to keep water/weather/dust out of your tonneau? Going across my ranch it's filled with dust in seconds.
  7. What features would get you to upgrade your existing Cybertruck to a newer model?

I love my current 2025 base AWD cybertruck, but there are a few things that I could see trading up for. For me it would be some combination of these: 1) Plaid speed 2) Battery range increase (from my 320 to say 400) 3) Hardware 5 4) Rear view mirror replaced with screen connected to rear camera...
  8. Apple CarPlay coming to Tesla as soon as end of year!

I would love this for few reasons: 1) current Bluetooth connection plays my audio in crap 64kbs stream, carplay could give me full audio quality. 2) apple nave lane guidance is better 3) siris ability to report cops, hazards via voice 4) WAZE 5) siris ability to text and deal with my calendar...
  9. FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

/rant The single worst part and bane of FSD is not the FSD part, it’s the craptacular navigation that leads FSD into garbage situations. Lane navigation is pure garbage compared to apple car play. Worse, after how many years, why do we not have the ability to create a “my route” to a place...
  10. 2025.38.8.6 – FSD (Supervised) v14.1.6

The notice seems to discus bot 14.1.6 and 14.6. Is the 14.6 a typo?
  11. Tire Blowout - Safety Benefit of Tri-Motor vs Dual Motor

If that happens again, just keep it to 60mph or less and it should be safe enough for you to get to where you can get some help. Definitely minimize speed and distance all you can. l think being aware of the danger helps a lot so when I recently had a nail in the cybertruck (luckily not the...
  12. Tire Blowout - Safety Benefit of Tri-Motor vs Dual Motor

Monitor your tire pressures like a hawk! In my above blow out I left the house and one tire was lower than others but I thought it was because it was cold. Turns out there was a nail and the tire had a slow leak. What caused it to literally explode is tire speed at the top of the tire is 2x your...
  13. Tire Blowout - Safety Benefit of Tri-Motor vs Dual Motor

A few things. Have not had a blow out in the CT, just a slow leak from a nail. Also, not sure if all 3 motors are “on” in FSD and while likely cruising on the highway. Im not sure the help against “pulling” is a per motor thing as much as it is a traction control thing dealing with torque...
  14. Homelink on Cybertruck - anyone install?

But "experts" know what happens to you better than you do. /sarcasm
  15. Homelink on Cybertruck - anyone install?

I think as long as you have too many people apologizing for their decision you are right, but if enough people complain they want a homelink option they will do a 180. Just like they did on the Yoke and they did on the turn stalk in the model Y.
  16. Homelink on Cybertruck - anyone install?

Not same. First I have power backup. Second, internet goes out way more in my area than power. YMMV. Also, enjoy them reselling all your open/close door and GPS data from when you engage the app. I'm sure they will treat your data so so well.
  17. Homelink on Cybertruck - anyone install?

I'm sure MyQ will treat your coming and going data as sacred too. Yea, pass. Subscription plus data mining is evil to me. YMMV.
  18. Homelink on Cybertruck - anyone install?

Doesn't it require a monthly fee? Pass on monthly fees to open up my own garage door. Oh and likely have all that data sold too.
