i guess I never actually answered the op's question....
No this doesn't bother me at all... the place the truck will sit the most is in front of my garage in Texas sun where i can charge it whenever i decide i need it the next day
i intend on leaving the cabin overheat protection on <yes this...
Wasn't it the head of GM that said they don't think they will actually make money on ev's till 2030...
If so the expectation would be several different models each with limited runs and low production numbers to serve as test beds of various configurations for ev's.. so a pickup, probably an...
I believe a large part of the plan is also the semi chargers. IIRC cybertrucks will be able to use the same charging pumps that the semi's use
to control the traffic at those pumps.. you only direct people do em from the API if they are driving a vehicle capable of fully utilizing it.. <trucks...
my only disagreement is that this has ANYTHING to do with buying preferences.. pretty much every small truck sold in the US sold all they would build... the manufacturers choose to stop producing them not for lack of demand but for lack of profit.
in the big 3's minds light trucks compete with...
the tax credit.. at least at the federal level is just that a federal income tax credit.. the dealer/manufacturer shouldn't really have anything to do with it.. your tax accountant will.
EDIT>>>
I withdraw my post.... per cnet this will become an on the hood tax... which is interesting as it...
interesting since all use of tesla chargers requires the teesla app or api; i wonder if they have built and will start using a minimum requirement for a charger.. so for example you can only use a class 4 charger if your car supports it..
at what point in time did i EVER mention or imply that it was about who made any car?? i was responding to a post stating that Tesla no longer got tax credits for building ev's and that they hadn't for years.. this is patently untrue.... the entire thread started with someone ccmplaining about...
well sure we all know they are filling in order.. but how they are making the order is a question for a lotta people.. most assume by number.. some by order of location/configuration/employer etc...
8)
even if they just did a lottery and picked at random that wold be an order.. laughs in the...
keep in mind it isn't just pre-release vehicles.. it also includes released vehicles not ordered from stock.. so for example the Model Y i ordered didn't have a vin yet.. so i got a reservaction number when i ordered it.
a> you have no idea of my financing and no idea if this is money i should or shouldn't spend.. never assume 8)
no it is a basic question.. wipers have been built the same way for a VERY VERY long time.. so you have to ask when we change something like this.. why were they built that way.. and...
original which took em awhile.. then they extended it several times.. bottom line the model Y i buy this yea is STILL eligible even thought it is the fastest selling vehicle in the world.
I believe that is the first 200,000 sold in the US PER MODEL.. not per maker... so for tesla that is what 800,000 cars for the 4 main brands times 7k each.. about 5 billion of funding.
and keep in mind he was responding to someone complaining about how them buying a tesla built out the tesla...
yeahh hopefully they ain't close for later reservations.. as it tells me...
Your anticipated delivery date is 123.00 months or 10.25 years after the first Cybertruck delivery, targeted for September 2023.
I seriously considered the F150 lightning last year
it wasn't available last year for order when i looked
it looks now like it will be a true niche vehicle with no long term plans to make many of them
the price for range over 350 miles looks like it will be higher than the CT
then i considered...
Average car price is 47,000 per year.. total car sales for luxury cars is about 23k per month <these numbers are in the US> source for Luxury cars is https://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2022-us-midsize-luxury-car-sales-figures/
I think it would be disingenuous for Elon to say he expects to sale 250k...
ya know.. it just occurred to me while driving....
Normal wipers park against the bottom of the glass.. so the first sweep up.. clears debris out away from the car <and prolly onto the windshield of the guy behind you but not my problem> with the giga-wiper parking up by the driver at the side...
none although the tesla roadster is CLOSE but i REALLY need something i can haul stuff with.. laughs i will stick with my fiat spider as a roadster i guess.
