Can’t argue with that. I got a couple emails over 2-3 months saying I was up in the cue, asking a handful of times while waiting for anything but crickets. Might have just been one of the squeakiest wheels ??‍♂️
I have a bit of guilt when it comes to the insanely old configuration dates I’ve...
Well, not sure where the disconnect was. Even after directly asking again at my service appointment check in to not install and simply place the covers in the vault, I don’t know whether this should be considered 50% correct, or 150% incorrect…
Either way, after swinging wildly over the last...
FWIW, I got the OP version and didnt like the silver ring in the sea of black back there lol....
Ended up going with these, which IMO provide a stronger (not necessary) locked position with two studs going into the track versus just one. They are solid, heavy duty, and all black!
WA here…12,4XX. Get mine next week, but not without way too much back and forth. We’ll see if they honor my request to not install the covers and put them in the vault for DIY install.
I've been returning the favor in kind lately, and it's fairly entertaining ha. Sometimes get the "wait did that guy flip me off?" look, sometimes get a second, more exaggerated bird...best is to hit that dashcam save when you see general criticism/reactions. The general attitude towards all...
FWIW, I was in at Seattle SC for the wiper motor recall September 10 or 11. Asked about it in the service appointment messages, which seemed to be intentionally ignored. I wasn't worried about getting them right then, and as a first time Tesla owner (long time hater turned fanboy in November of...
If for whatever reason someone is able to get their hands on a Tesla off road roof light bar that has not been glued to the truck yet, I will buy it. It pisses me off it’s available for CB but NOT Dual Motor owners, even though the truck is equipped for it (unless I missed something along the...

I went plastidip grey a couple months back. Didn’t want to wait, and wasn’t sure how a color pop would look, so I didn’t want to commit to much before seeing more options. IMO the grey is a subtle yet noticable pop in the sea of black, but isn’t overdone. To each their own, but recommend...
I measured out all the panels on the truck and scaled everything into a 60" wide roll to determine minimum length of the roll. It can be done with 45 feet with zero margin for error. First timer should probably get a 60 foot roll.
Being my first Tesla and EV, I probably don’t have much room to talk, but I will say I love the CT and have not once been disappointed after 4.5 months and 4k miles. Got the FSD update two weeks ago and wasn’t overly impressed initially, but with a recent update and what SEEMS like real-time...
I held off on my DIY plastic protection using XPEL Armor on the sails until I got the recall parts installed. Got it home yesterday and went to town with the armor…only to find a lack of complete install of the new pieces. Should have taken a before photo, but I was too far into it before I...
Chirp chirp....
Need a recommendation for a tint shop (somewhere on the I-5 corridor, Everett to Tacoma) that can do the windshield. My go-to shop couldn't do it when I had the windows done back in May when I took delivery, and I don't think a recently-recommended-shop quote I got is quite fair.
I used to have EZ-Lip products on my Subaru back in the day…I know, they’re pretty much a garage door seal, but mine was pretty low on coils and didn’t want anything down there looking like dogshit after scraping driveways, speed bumps, etc.
I still have my 86 CRX Si commuter, which has a foam...
Yes it does the animation when powering on (I think) and when removing phone. Initially I wasn’t a fan of the lighting in general, but finding it in the dark may be more annoying. My phone goes on it every time I hop in, so it’s covered 99% of the time anyway.
I second this. I’d say it’s the best option out there, and I’ve seen many, but maybe not all. Very satisfied with it so far. Doesn’t block blind spot indicator when phone is connected, and the install is super clean.
First - I'm not a troll. Second - I had my wiper recall performed by Seattle SC 3 weeks ago and now it's more erratic than it EVER was before the replacement. Third - Love seeing fellow CTOC/WA folks posting here. I see a few others driving around my neck of the woods, significantly more during...
