It’s also a self-calibration function. Probably a process to identify true drag conditions when perpendicular to path of travel, then back to side/vertical position after calibrating to more accurately adjust itself based on the horizontal pause info.
You’ll also learn to trust Elon over Waze when it comes to the best route to take. I was CarPlay4L, then bought a CT. Took a few days, tops, but I haven’t looked back.
Oh yea and, FSD>
I measured all the panels and scaled a 60" roll to 45' long playing tetris. This leaves almost zero margin for error, so I would suggest a 55'-60' roll just in case.
Forgot I said I would update with gloss spokes, which I am very happy with and others seem to agree when they learn they came full matte from factory. Crappy video thru front window, but it gets the point across.
Doesn’t solve the problem, but just cram some shit in there if it’s snowing while you’re parked. 3/4 inch pipe insulation is a great fit, then just throw it in the vault or in the frunk when you’re leaving.
Haven’t thought of a console since buying PS4 way back and using it less than 12 times total, so I grabbed one of those controllers to throw in the truck and it paired up no issue and works just fine for my rare supercharger stops/LAN sessions.
Making a general assumption, a new PS4 controller...
Yes, all the time. Politics aside, it’s 90% positive, 10% negative/neutral. Was closer to 70/30 in the early days, with more negative than neutral in that 30, but more people than not say they like it better in person than on the interwebz.
People mostly want to talk about the steel, how fast...
Heard it for the first time yesterday and about shit myself thinking I blew out a CV joint or was losing the strut top hat right then and there…will check cover install today all around. I did remove the covers for tire black application, leaving the frames in place, so I can’t imagine it was...
Yes, tabs in the center WILL break. I was extremely delicate during removal and they still broke. Having a number of stereo system installations under my belt, I am usually pretty successful with trim removal, but not on this one. Didn't seem to affect anything though, especially with the...
oh the superchargers were working fine?only went to fill up at 630a to run the wife’s home office for the day.
Did a great job sans PowerShare with a couple extension cords to the Internet equipment (battery backed up already, only 300 mins run time for the backup), monitor/camera/mic setup, and...
No wrap, just 1/4” reflective silver (more white than silver, unfortunately) tron striping. Just got wheel covers Thursday night, and glossed the spikes yesterday, so don’t have any real photos yet. Will grab more as I usually do while out and out and post down the road!
Any interest in adding gloss or colors to your covers, DM!
Spiced it up a bit this afternoon, and it adds a nice pop to the now-seemingly-huge wheels, IMO! Ha
I tend to prefer a matte black, but tinted windows don’t come in matte, so to tie everything together and dress it up a bit post-install, took things into my own hands to add a pop’o’gloss to the sea of matte…any interest in the same or colored spokes/centers-DM!
Good luck! Ha…need a follow up for sure. Guess it’s a liability thing…once they’re on per spec by the service “tech,” their hands are washed clean in the event anything happens, like others reporting flying saucers seen on cam footage?
