They did until they stopped making them this week. š
@Ken in Miami , the cyber truck never had it but the rest did and then they stopped putting it in the 3 and Y at some point and turned it off in all of the other others that still had it. Elon decided that radar was interfering with FSD and...
š“š¾ āBack in my day you could only make right turns and we had to do it uphill both ways! And your wheels were connected directly to your steering wheel ⦠and even then only the ones in the front would turn!!ā
Yeah it was kind of weird. (1) early days bad phantom breaking with radar, then (2) dramatically improved with radar and then (3) take away radar and it got way worse than it ever was before for a period of time. The early days had a lot of ping-ponging and periods of the system being...
Nope, this was already addressed above. FSD used to give us a top speed of 90. That only changed because they took away the radar and went to vision only and it hasnāt been restored to the prior top speed yet.
I bought one also. I think itās actually in my vault @Hookalakupua. But while I used it fairly frequently in my FJ to get to my rooftop box, I have never used it on my CT and I donāt see really anytime coming where Iāll need it for this rig.
Yes but that was only possible on vehicles that were software locked into slower models. Such as my wifeās 2020 model Y. If you didnāt buy the performance model Y you have the option of a $2000 acceleration boost which we did for her car it didnāt make it as fast as the performance version but...
I think youāre saying that you are startled and annoyed by this behavior is what Iām hearing. The solution is just to be cognizant of the fact that youāre about to do some serious speeding and either click the right toggle wheel or tap on the screen before you put your foot down. If you do that...
People have been giving an OP a hard time mostly about his lack of familiarity (and frankly lack of common sense) with how he should use FSD. But out west these ridiculous speeds are very common. The reason I know that you need to disengage FSD before you really give your car the beans on the...
Forgot about this. What I would say is the oppositeā you can really feel the front wheel bias in the Beast. I canāt say that I absolutely love it. Also, with that, you get the weird jarring CLUNK under certain road/acceleration conditions.
When I had an AWD as a loaner I didnāt so much notice...
Itās not attached to anything other than the little fold out stand which in this case is pointed downward and serves to hold the Starlink in place being squeezed between the tailgate and the tonneau cover. Itās so low effort and more than secure enough for me to feel comfortable driving...
As somebody whoās well known for aggressive heart attacks, this is a doozy. Look, I love my FS/CB! I love my [Vet] and I love my MS Plaid that I just had finished out with one of the last track packs that Tesla will ever sell. That car sits at the pinnacle of any model S that ever has been or...
