That is only saying delivery begins in 2024 for this model not if you order now that it will be delivered in 2024. Foundations delivery timeline is more accurate of a timeline and with a different meaning than non foundation and what delivery begins in 2024 mean.
Lol good, stop wasting time. Either purchase the vehicle or step aside and wait for the non foundation versions like I will be doing. I figured they would want the full price to convert not just a $1000.
For one some show rooms cannot fit them so they are staged like trophy cases. They would rather build these for delivery vs build more for staging so preservation is key initially. Just from what I heard at a grand opening I attended this past weekend and one was there. So beautiful btw pictures...
You should be ok on waiting. You're just first up in line for the Foundation series. You shouldn't lose your place for the regular versions once available just configure then.
I'm fine without it. Cool idea but when I think about pricing and reliability for the life of the truck. I'm ok with removable ones vs an integrated version.
People always wants to put the cart before the horse which is why none of us are Elon. First the factory, then the press now the truck. It takes time. He didn't want to build something of this importance just to move it later. Plus the company building the press needed time to perfect the press...
From a reliable source I was told Tesla will limit the range on the non performance. But you can upgrade later to the extended range if you want to keep the costs as low as possible all while limiting sku count.
Not public, government. Just like govt work with other manufacturers for custom work. Not available to public. Didn't think I had to be so specific for you smart people.
