Yeah but...my truck is my fourth early build Tesla. Vin 3983 S, Vin 3500 3, Vin 60xx Y and now truck 68xx. While all (except Truck so far) had some issues that needed service, none of these ever left me stranded, needing a tow etc. The biggest issue I experienced across the board was really fit...
I damaged my left side-front driving off road, went through the app for service request and after 3 weeks was quoted $80 to replace (part only I checked to confirm no labor charge). I declined as this seemed like a stupid amount for something that I'll likely just break again. They are a PITA to...
According to this those don't work well:

Studies referenced appear older so maybe there is some new and improved tech going into modern deer whistles? Seems like the deer are probably running away...
Yeah, that thought crossed my mind but after reading the forums and finding lots of reports of delays etc thought maybe there is some truth? This company has done extensive work for Tesla including Supercharger installs so who knows!
On previous recall issues for Teslas I have owned, I have experienced a variety of approaches. Mostly, when the vehicle has come in for service for another issue, outstanding recall items or service bulletin items have been fixed at the same time. Outside of that, I would picture a very slow...
Check out eBay. There are plenty of "factory take-offs" for sale, which are OEM wheel/tire combos with very few miles on them, typically sold for owners who opted to remove the factory wheels and put on after markets. I just bought an OEM Cybertruck wheel/tire to keep as a spare for $525. I plan...
I have found overly-aggressive regeneration braking can be a problem in icy conditions in the other Tesla vehicles I have owned. High regen can kick in with a sudden driver reaction to a situation/need to slow down where the driver completely takes the foot off the accelerator rather than easing...
I would say be cautious in wet/muddy terrain with incline. I found the stock tire tread doesn't seem to shed mud well and it is easy to loose traction in these conditions especially given the weight of the truck. Dry and steep was no problem (and lots of fun).
Also I found the off road mode...
Mine was in good shape when I picked up 5/15. No issues 12 days in and 807 miles. Took it off road this weekend and it performed well in some steep (22 degrees) and muddy conditions.
Picked up my new AWD FS truck this morning at Tyson's Corner. Pretty smooth delivery and I have not had any issues with the truck so far. Day one reservation 11/21/2019 with RN11275 but not invited to configure until 1/31/24 (which I did right away). Vin assigned 4/28/24 and notified 5/14/15...
Are you in VA? I got my PowerShare visit in NoVa March 29 but have heard nothing since. Received vin 1 week ago for Tysons but no word yet on delivery. For home charging, the truck will come with the mobile connector which allows you to charge the truck off any sort of wall power (120-240) as...
Got my VIN yesterday 4/28. nothing else yet, all stuff on my end is done, just waiting for delivery date now.
1) The first 5 digits of your RN# 11275
2) The date you configured your truck: 01/31/2024
3) The date you received your VIN assignment: 4/28/2024
4) The number range of your VIN...

Trucks spotted on 81 and 395, at least they’re moving through our state!
I had my assigned electrician for Powershare installation bid come to my home yesterday in Northern Va. the company is based out of suburban MD area. He said Tesla had given them 75 customers for them to assess homes all at once and they had been working hard to get through those as soon as they...
Yeah, +1 on that, I got tripped up for a while with the autofilled RN1234567… I guess in addition to being a sizable shareholder there’s an i.q. check too:LOL:
