Welcome to Tesla! The CT will be my fourth early build Tesla (2013 S, 2018 3, 2020 Y). In my experience, there has always been a bit of randomness in the delivery process and no strict logic to receiving invitations to confirm order, getting a vin and taking delivery. Or maybe they got far enough into the Texas and California early reservations that they are now cycling through the early reservations in other regions?
