I guess there are advantages to being pretty ignorant of manufacturing so I will just gape and point cool stuff out to my kids and hope I get a good one.
It's pretty cool, but I think I'd rather just have more interior or bed volume and bring the cooking equipment separately. Couldn't a CT stove just attach using the rail system (not sure what it's called...) and then slide down to the tailgate when in use? Seems more flexible and usable IMO.
Seems pretty likely by the time the warranty expires (depending on your average mileage) that batteries may have declined further in price. Sure they'll be $16K by then?
Also, I wonder what the MTBF is on battery cells after the initial period were they tend to decline and lose range? Are they...
I have a profound distaste for many car dealers, this is one reason why. At the same time, I can't blame them because if someone pays the extra, then they were right.
I understand, different strokes for different folks. I've never taken toilet paper, I might be tempted to TP my boss's office on his birthday or something. Which sounds crazy, but even crazier when you realize I work for a huge corporate with 100K employees.
There is no slippery slope here...
Well, I just draw the line after pencils and low value items. I can trust myself not to slide down the slope to stealing the 70" TV on the wall in the breakroom.
I suspect Crissa is speaking in general that employers steal from employees, and I agree. Employees are frequently completely...
I know this feeling.
I have stayed away from individual stock purchases for some time now and instead put regular money in a roboinvestor that uses broad market index funds. Historically that's pretty safe in the long term although there have been some periods that if you were unlucky to be...
What would make me not order the Cybertruck is if the final dimensions don't fit in my garage. I will have no where to charge that's convenient. I don't have a driveway. I could park it at a nearby free charger and walk home every time I charged, but that would be painful. I could charge it at...
You'd be bonkers to do this anyway. That's about 200 complete battery cycles a year, probably more.
I think firing the guy for taking the empty bleach bottle is insane, I would expect him to explain it was empty and he was cleaning up and it was convenient for him to take it home and throw it...

Well....
Keep in mind the reasons why are:
- They were driving Fiat EVs (enough said)
- They didn't have convenient charging at home
Loyalty to Tesla is higher, although I didn't see the % for that.

I joined this forum a little while ago but only recently became a regular visitor. I can tell you I am really enjoying the conversations, the banter, the level of apparent expertise present in some of the armchair analysis and predictions. I am learning a great deal and that makes this a great...
Digging up an oldish post there, but I'm really hoping Tesla offer factory wrap options because although I like the idea of wraps, they tend to be quite pricey. I'm already spending $79K (including FSD) on a trimotor, plus tax, fees etc. Here's hoping there is the $10K rebate by then, but still...
I wonder if someone could develop an insulated liner, maybe even something that partitioned the space. A little dry ice, ice in an insulated liner and you'd have cooler good for a few days of camping I think.
I'm here trying to figure out how farting inside a solar oven helps, but I think Crissa usually posts rational, cogent things so I'm taking his word for it.
