  1. Tonneau cover gap issue fixed by Service Center under warranty

I must have the worst SC around. Mine leaked had the same issues and they just told me it was within spec, so I bought 3 slats and seals and installed myself. It’s $386 if you buy them on your own btw.
  2. Recall: Drive Inverter Failures on 2024 Cybertrucks Produced 11/6/23 – 7/30/24 (Affects 2,431 vehicles)

Well the SC just text and said they can't get the adhesive on the new seals to stick to the windshield and they want to put a new windshield in. I had the upper portion of the current one tinted with an IR film which of course they said is on me. At this point, they disassembled 50% of the...
  3. Free Cyber Wheel Caps from Tesla

Placed my order yesterday as soon as I got the email. Got a followup email today saying my order was cancelled?? I'm starting to think Tesla doesn't like me. Probably because I asked about my PowerShare voucher they still haven't gotten me
  4. Recall: Drive Inverter Failures on 2024 Cybertrucks Produced 11/6/23 – 7/30/24 (Affects 2,431 vehicles)

Yeah, the saga continues with what they screwed up on this. I was installing my snow tires and from the passengers side front could see a hating harness to the front drive unit dangling . Closer look and the blue cover that is supposed to clip on, the locking tabs were broken off and the wire...
  5. Trouble using PowerShare voucher

They still haven’t fixed mine and even the service writer is ignoring my questions about an update. I love my truck, but Tesla service and communication makes me never want to buy another.
  6. Trouble using PowerShare voucher

They still haven’t fixed my PowerShare voucher. If I try to use it I get an error saying it’s invalid. The lady from the PowerShare team stopped replying to our text stream back in December and even the service writer at the service center can’t get an answer. Frustrating!
  7. Awesome safety feature in Jack Mode

So I put the truck in extract mode and needed to get under it on a creeper and put a Jack stand under the passenger side lift point just to be safe because you never know. Finished up and took a phone call and promptly forgot to take the jack stand out and put the suspension back to medium...
  8. Error code EGGLEFTVC_a458

I agree with the statement about this most recent update being buggy. I was leaving the SC and stopped to charge before heading home. Put the truck in drive and started to go but the truck tried backing up! Did it 3x then did the steering wheel button reset and it worked right. About 10 min...
  9. Tesla Delivers a Cool Present for Service Techs: Cybertruck Service Mode+

Awesome, thanks! I know over the 5 years several things had been talked about back there, such as onboard compressor and Elon even saying an electric prop motor for “boat mode” always good to know what options ya have around .
  10. Tesla Delivers a Cool Present for Service Techs: Cybertruck Service Mode+

Ahahahahahh, yep I love every view of the truck except the rear. That diffuser…. Looks like it has a pants load ?. I’ve seriously considered taking it off and seeing what happens to highway efficiency. If it’s not a big hit I’ll make a new rear pan and ditch the diaper.
  11. Repurposing the 12v puddle light

I emailed the seller on Amazon that I bought the others from with that same question :-)
  12. Repurposing the 12v puddle light

I ordered the Cybertruck puddle lights back in April on Amazon only to quickly find out the seller had made them for a 12v not 48v system. They refunded my money but told me to keep the puddle lights. So I had a random idea as I was cleaning off my workbench and thought I could wire a pigtail to...
  13. Trouble using PowerShare voucher

I would, but the closest service center is just over 2 hours away
  14. Tesla Delivers a Cool Present for Service Techs: Cybertruck Service Mode+

Any chance that you can tell me what the wires that are just to the right of the trailer hitch when you’re standing behind the truck go to? There’s a bundle like six or eight wires that terminate into a dead end clip that is clipped to the port for the diaper, I mean air shield lol. I was just...
  15. Trouble using PowerShare voucher

I'm still waiting to hear back from Karen myself. I last heard from her Dec 11th saying she was waiting for the Tesla Shop team to resolve the issu. I've text her 3x since then for updates but she has ghosted me. Had to just pay out of pocket for the snow tires :-(
  16. Recall: Drive Inverter Failures on 2024 Cybertrucks Produced 11/6/23 – 7/30/24 (Affects 2,431 vehicles)

Whelp, for the truck back from the inverter replacement, both front and back. They managed to scuff the crap out the front lower valance and forgot 4 bolts , didn’t clip in the trim and damaged the wrap. Oh and the front drive motor is easily 2x louder than it was when you engage “slippery...
  17. 1 a million Cybertruck drivetrain oil leak

I guess after repaint a lot of construction equipment over the last 25 years, I’d say that’s just got a hole in it. If it were cracked I’d say it was compromised. A hole at the web of an aluminum casting is unlikely to be a high risk point of failure. You could likely even just put a rubber...
  18. Trouble using PowerShare voucher

I’m very disappointed both as a Tesla owner and a long term shareholder. I’ve spent hours now trying to track down someone who can help at Tesla only to keep getting punted. This last time I got a person at the sales department who checked with her manager who only said call the 800# on the...
  19. 1 a million Cybertruck drivetrain oil leak

It’s a no lose situation, they already told him it needed replaced  with it being on the bottom it would be easy to control shavings and rinse out after. I used to shove a piece of shop rag in holes like that and just did it out after. Shop vac nozzle up against the drill but and tap will...
  20. 1 a million Cybertruck drivetrain oil leak

From looking at the pic , I’d just drill it out and tap it and screw in a drain plug. Don’t overthink it people :)
