Yea for the most part, as they age (battery cycles) the batteries will loose some capacity. But the slower you drive, less wind resistance will mean better efficiency. I drive 85 on my freeways so I get about 500 wh a mile. But in town it’s as low as 350. If you accelerated slow and did 65-70...
At least the cops were close by. It would appear to be a sideshow judging by the crowd. I would have to guess a Turo. So much trash in this country 🤦♂️
...the truck is being delivered, figuring that once a few are in an area, statistically, -someone- is gonna try to get that cash by putting it on Turo, especially trying to be the first 1-2 in the area...
So no flipping Cybertrucks. But would you consider renting out your Cybertruck on Turo when you're not driving it?
How much do you think you could get for a day's rent of your Cybertruck on Turo?
I just submitted my order for a foundation series and saw that some cybertruck owners are renting their rigs on Turo for $500 - $1000 per day. Curious what members think of this. I'm thinking that since I'll get the rig soon, I'll also be able to command a high price and help defer the huge...
...and it would phantom drain by the time we finished surgery all day.
That's the reason I need the demo for 1 day to make the round-trip commute. Unfortunately our small college town doesn't have a good Turo fleet to setup a CT rental. My gen 1 R1T makes it every commute with 30-60 miles...
I've never heard a Turo story where the renter washed and detailed the vehicle and it smelled like roses when they returned it. Always a negative story. So why people use Turo is beyond me.
This is to get to a cruise, so taxi/ Uber/ shuttle in Florida seems more practical. Unless Turo person will handle vehicle drop offs and pick ups in useful spots.
I hear you. For kids, a cross country trip is a lifetime of memories but being able to leave a business in somebody else’s hands isn’t a luxury everyone has.
Maybe you could fly out and turo a Cybertruck?
...In winter I’m going through gallons of fluid tying to clean the mess the wiper makes for no reason.
this past weekend I rented a Cybertruck on Turo and did 500 miles with only 2 dry wipes I was blown away. I’m actually considering trading mine in it drives me so crazy but it seems like the...
It seems most of the misbehavior in Turos is also accompanied by imposter drivers and cannabis. Has that been your experience? Turo stories are fascinating to me.
Sadly it sounds like you got scammed. I've had MANY damage claims over the years, and the guests personal insurance paid. every. single. time.
I never had to pay a deductible for any damages that were 100% guest caused.
I rented my CTFS several times on Turo before the daily price sank beneath $200. I had several good experiences and then only one bad experience. You already know how Turo insurance works, but when a driver damaged the rear bumber, he had to pay a deductible and so did I. That makes no sense to...
