I paid 4k for PPF and a ceramic coat. They did all the prep work. I couldn’t stand the fingerprints all over constantly. I’m sure clear is slightly cheaper material cost. I’d do the doors before the front end.

I used to take mine through the auto car wash. It seemed to have messed up my driver side mirror but was the only way I could get it looking clean. I had to take it to the dealer to fix. Otherwise fine. Now that I’m wrapped and have ceramic I’m going to wash it at home or with a hand wash somewhere.

Yup it’s definitely the mirror trying to fold in. And yes I take it through car washes on car wash mode. The mirror itself is fine when open but loose when folded. I haven’t noticed a shake though. Glad I have a service appt. this week.

Yes you can hear the end of the lock sound right at the start of my video. The tapping sound starts immediately after. This is new as of 2 days ago. Haven’t changed any sound settings.
