I had my wheels rotated yesterday and in the process they checked the balance and air pressure.
They inflated them to 51PSI. When I left I checked the on screen pressure and it was reading 56PSI.
Which one would be correct?
Took my CT AWD to my local tire guy for wheel rotation today. I put the truck in Jack mode and it was in park. The tech used floor jacks at each point, illustrated in the manual to lift the truck. He unbolted each wheel then took them in for air check and balance. As he was removing the last...
I would really like to disable this curvature assistant in my CT, but trying to contact Tesla about it only gets crickets or a suggestion to try another name for it.
I'm sure this is a rear ender accident waiting for the right opportunity.
I think the name for the cruise control now is Autopilot. Either way, it's the mode I put my CT in that keeps the speed the same, but not FSD.
Anyway, I can't figure this one out nor do I know if there's anything to figure out.
When I'm driving along in Autopilot and have to hit the brakes, I...
This is kinda strange. it thinks my windshield needs cleaning on the inside?
It might be from when they installed a new windshield about a month ago. Probably didn't clean up as good as it should have been.
On the other hand, I don't know. I guess I'll have to schedule an appointment to find out...
I just noticed this a day or so ago.
When I signal for a right or left turn or lane change, the rear view camera image on the screen changes to the camera view from the side I'm turning toward.
I know I might be a bit slow on the up take, but I think this is a recent software update.
I would be interested in the under armor protection to protect my battery from run of the mill road debris but I like the running boards instead of the rock sliders.
I kind mentioned my interest in another thread but it didn't get any response. I might not have been specific enough.
Can only...
I pulled the large wheel covers off my CT wheels to put air in the tires and decided I might like the look of that, but needed to cover the nuts and hubs.
I browsed on line and found Snap On Wheel Covers on the CybertruckCo web sight. They were free too. Just had to pay shipping, about $21...
OK, I've done a few searches here and on YouTube for ideas how to get a battery shield and still have running boards.
The Tesla Terrestrial Kit package includes the rock sliders, but I don't plan to do any of that off road stuff.
I just want protection of the critical belly part of the truck...
I'm pretty used to putting the two or three grocery bags or other small items on the floor behind the drivers seat in my CT. Carried this practice over from the F-150s I've had in the past.
The CT has a big flat floor back there and the groceries in plastic bags will find their way all over the...
Before I bought my Y Model a few years ago, I had prepped my garage for it with a level II charger.
I have a 15KW solar panel system which is still under warranty. I could wire the charger myself but I was concerned about voiding the warranty.
I bought the Tesla charging unit on-line then put...
I picked up my truck at the Charlotte, NC show room on 16 January and the registration papers and plates haven't arrived here (Virginia) yet. Almost a month and a week.
I thought I had indicated that I would do the registration stuff myself in the online process of vehicle delivery.
I...
OK, I bought the Cybergearco running boards and installed them a few days ago.
They look sharp and were easy to bolt to the truck. I may go back and locktite the bolts with Blue.
I'm 6'4" and having a bit of trouble getting into or out of the truck now. At first, I realized leaning forward made...
As usual. New vehicle, gotta get the extra stuff installed right away.
The whole job took me about an hour. Would have been quicker if I hadn't dropped the socket and it rolled under the tool cabinet.
Before
After with @Cybergear running boards
Why doesn't Tesla mount that screen on a swivel?
It's primarily there for the driver so if ya have sight problems, reading the far edge of the screen can become problematic.
I'm far sighted so I have to lean way over there to read the small print.
I first learned of the swivel mount from the...
I'm just full of gripes about this truck but I still like it better than any vehicle I've ever owned, except for my Honda Goldwing.
This Curvature Assist was active in my Y Model and now, it's in my CT.
I don't know how to turn it off except to not use cruise control or whatever Tesla calls it...
Just a gripe about the Super Charging stations and trailers.
I pulled a trailer from Virginia to Timonium, MD with my CT last weekend and had to stop for a charge each way. None of the stations had a charging spot that was accessible for a vehicle pulling a trailer. I had to drop the trailer...
I bumped up against a pile of ice yesterday and thought the front wheel only rolled up against it.
This morning I noticed this piece of trim was hanging loose in front of the right front tire. I was able to pull it off the front bumper. Seemed like just a few plastic tabs holds it in place, but...
Still getting used to this awesome truck. Another item I'm a bit disappointed in is the FM radio reception.
I had a 2022 Y Model Dual motor before my CT. The reception was fine for the stations I like to listen to around here.
My CT though. The same stations come in very scratchy. I have to...
