Curvature Assistant - Tesla Doesn't Know What That is

I would really like to disable this curvature assistant in my CT, but trying to contact Tesla about it only gets crickets or a suggestion to try another name for it.
I'm sure this is a rear ender accident waiting for the right opportunity.

I’m with tesla on this one, what’s the curvature assistant, what does it do or supposed to do?

its only active when TACC is on. I dont think it can be turned off separately from tacc

When the vehicle slows for a curve I see "Curvature Assistant Active" across my screen. The major issue of this is that the vehicle will do it on a straight highway for no apparent reason. Proper lane markings clearly visible, flat highway, no debris on the road surface, vehicle doing maybe a couple mph over the speed limit, nothing, and the vehicle will just suddenly slow or actually brake to slow the vehicle, sometimes 20mph then resume the original TACC speed.
I don't do more than 3pmh over speed limit as all my tickets have been 3-5 over on interstates and secondary highways of 55 or 60. I don't understand how you guys can do 15 or 20 over.

You are probably getting pulled over for driving suspiciously close to the actual speed limit! Cops probably figure you have drugs or a warrant for your arrest and are driving so slow to avoid being pulled over.

Try to blend in more.

Oh it’s a TACC feature, I always use the FSD havnt used TACC sense they activated the FSD on the truck. But also what you describe in slowing down to 20, does sometimes happen on FSD I just consider that as phantom breaking for cracks / shadows on the pavement. lol. Some roads have incorrect map data from when construction was there in the past, I just disable FSD and manually drive past that area, it’s annoying.

Some police is stupid anal, once driving through Georgiana AL, cop hated the interstate traffic coming through his town and would ticket anyone going 3+ over, to top it off he sat at the bottom of a hill and the limit would drop from 55 to 35 without warnings ofc he sat at the first 35 sign and would write tickets all day.

I'm convinced Tesla doesn't know about the Curvature Assistant while in TACC mode. The text AI keeps referring back to FSD despite my text that says I "NEVER" use FSD. Soooo, if Tesla doesn't know about this phantom braking, it must be a software hack on their system.
