  1. Front Window Tint bubbles

sounds like an installer blaming the factory for something the installer should have cleaned up.
  2. A kid threw a rock at our truck.

Used to be that any Tesla drivers waved to each other. Now around here Tesla's are as common as dirt and it seems that nobody bothers ? Sad that it stopped but happy to see them so common.
  3. Foundation vs not

There are a bunch of threads that ask this exact question, but the summary is the same. Can you afford it? Foundation series isn't a limited run like Signature for S & X, it won't be "collectible" Is the extra bundle worth $20K to you Can you use PowerShare Nobody knows what the regular CT...
  4. Chrome wrap with PPF and Tron stripes

some folks gotta be the downer oh no - cybertruck going to cause accidents because it will make people look at it on no - shiny will reflect light in a way that no building, sign, mirror or any other reflective surface will do, how inconsiderate of you. oh no - chrome should be banned because...
  5. Actual risk to charge everyday at 100%?

Been driving electric for many moons and its always been a recommendation to normal charge to 80%, but its OK to charge to 100% on road trips. Two biggest reasons I've found are: Charging from 80-100% takes twice a long as going from 60-80% That's just how charging works, a bit like filling a...
  6. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE INFORM THE MEDIA...

I love Tesla, own two of them and love them both. I'm also a realist and can see that even though the Model Y was (was being the operative word) the worlds best selling vehicle, the reality is that Tesla is offering price cuts, incentives, offers etc etc. I paid almost $8k off the old list price...
  7. Foundation vs standard choice is exagerating reservation declines

Prediction for switch to regular sales from Foundation. When sales slow down, they will continue to keep making the identical Cybertruck but sell it for $20k less and remove the Foundation stickers. All the software based options like FSD will become options again. Betting that the interior will...
  8. $130K BEAST… no homelink?

Very true, but at least it tells you when it can't talk to the door, so you can use what ever fall back you want. For me, it's an additive option. But I use MyQ with my Model3 even though that has homelink, it just works better. My next Tesla wont cost me anything to use MyQ, so another $350...
  9. $130K BEAST… no homelink?

MyQ subscription covers all of your cars, the cost is less than the $350 Tesla charges to add homelink on its other car. Add that it recognizes door open/close status and it gets better. Happy to pay $300 to get two cars connected for ten years. So far haven't used the MyQ app other than to set...
  10. .

Range Charging speed no autopilot rain leaking through bed cover sure there's lots more, but some folks see issues like that as blockers to spending $100,000
  11. Cybertruck CyberTent (former Basecamp Tent) - New Official Video

Inflatable tent = someone who has never gone camping before ? Number of times an inflatable mattress has failed for me, the last thing I’d consider is an inflatable tent
  12. Fusebox Location?

Wiring diagrams should be easy to come by once they are selling regular Cybertrucks Goto https://service.tesla.com/ and login in with your Tesla account. Only S, X, Y and 3 plus Roadster there so far, but the CT will show up.
  13. Fusebox Location?

Didn't think Teslas had fuse boxes
  14. EVs are dead

Hydrogen will work really well when you don't have to store it. Then your car can be refilled with water ? Only the small matter of getting the hydrogen to start it
  15. EVs are dead

I thought BMW cancelled the hydrogen engine back before 2010? Last year they were piloting fuel cells with some X5 SUVs Hardly them saying goodbye to anything
  16. Nema 14-50 charge rate.

Only charged at an RV place twice and had issues both times. First time the car reported a bad neutral on a socket that RV had used for weeks without issues. Turned out to be bad wiring. Second time power was all over the place, I guess depending on what everyone else was doing.
  17. Why aren't you accepting the Foundation Series invitation?

I'm a nobody and got an invite, that's why I know why I'm not ordering a foundation series.
  18. Cybertruck is almost sold out for 2024. Reservation conversion rate very encouraging (per Q4 2023 earnings call)

Not wishing to be too negative, I loved his comment about raising the price to manage demand. “obviously, we could dramatically raise the price, but that doesn't feel right to us to sort of gouge people for early delivery,” I laughed so loud my wife came to check what was so funny. It seems the...
  19. Why aren't you accepting the Foundation Series invitation?

I think what makes it worse is that it's $20k extra for Foundation series on both AWS and Beast, but you get less for your extra cash with the AWD. That's assuming the estimated prices of the base vehicle are accurate. Who knows, maybe it will be less and the folks getting early will have ended...
