I guess what I was thinking was how a skid steer locks a wheel to pivot on if maybe the Cybertruck would use some function of it off roading. Or even better give you an option of power sliding around corners!
In the Cybertruck video done by Top Gear they interviewed Lars Moravy and Franz Von Holzhausen at Tesla Design center. Lars Moravy was listing off some of the new technology in the Cybertruck and he mention Steer by wire then said steer by brake. Did anyone know if he just misspoke or is there...
The only thing I donāt see is the monitors for the side cameras. I thought you could remove the mirrors and there would be monitors there you would see the side of the truck?
I donāt know but to me it looks like there is still a middle seat but just set up differentlyā¦ The view of the back seat it didnāt look like a screen there but more like a cover.
Even more frustrating is now with my Tri Motor package Iām number 964 with a delivery date of 12/9/2021!! And still living in Alaska! Maybe I should just move! ?
Iām in line at number 3,241 with the Tri-motor truck ordered and the reservation list puts me at 0.33 month to get my truck when released. Now I should be excited but there is one fact that is curbing my enthusiasm, I live in Alaska and fear my region wont be at the top of the list!!! No telling...
Those are options but also shipping a trailer to Alaska costs $5,000 so if Iām going that way I may bring one up. A lot of variable to sort out by the time I get it.
I live in Alaska I am thinking of taking delivery from the factory and driving it home. I know I can hit Superchargers most of the way in the Lower 48 but crossing Canada concerns me. I am thinking about using RV parks as charging stations. Anyone have experience in using RV parks 220v system to...
I agree, I have a Toyota Tundra Crew Max and height is 2" taller, 3" narrower and 4" shorter then Cybertruck. Problem I have is most new homes now a days have garages for cars not trucks. I guess I need to build a garage just for my trucks, problem solved! ?
I have been looking at either expanding my garage wider and longer or possibly getting a new house. Most of my life I have parked my trucks outside and plugged in when needed. I just wanted to be a little nicer to this truck if I could and also maybe give the battery warmers a rest sometimes...
No my concern is not my tush but the optimization of the batteries being left in the cold and having to be heated 24 hours a day. Seems like unnecessary wear to me.
So if Elon says he needed to shrink the truck to fit into standard garage just how big of garage do I need?? I live in Alaska so parking outside is not an option really in the winter. So what are the dimensions of the garage to fit the truck i will need to have?
Thank you for showing all that. Yes itās the green ones I was wondering about. They just seemed out of place. I didnāt even know about the horizontal track, that will be very useful!!
