Same thing here. In my area the CT drives 5-10 mph under the speed limit even in hurry. Mad max might work, but sometimes I still have to give it a little gas manually to get it up to speed. Interestingly my MY works fine in regards to speed in my area.
Thanks for this. The deposit for me was actually $500 this time round. I have it escalated to corporate to try and get it back because they basically bait and switched me. If that doesn’t work I’ll go to the credit card company for sure
They just offered me $74k on VIN 0007xx FS. Ordered a new tesla and when the official trade in finally process they lowered it to $65k! Day before delivery. The truck is in fantastic shape and has lower miles on it that what I submitted for online trade in. I told the guy I'm gonna back out of...
Spoke with a Tesla advisor specific to this model. He said when they're gone they're gone. They are sending small batches of invites. More invites each day until they are sold. Likely to sell out by EOD tomorrow.
I can also confirm this is real. I also got the invite which is interesting. I don’t trust it will be as limited as they say since the FS cybertruck turned out to be 50,000 units or something.
I've had all models of tesla up to now. Just purchased a new MY. Got a very low VIN FS CT. Own Tesla...
Mine was fixed at service center. It turned out to be a few clips in the headliner that were broken. My cantrails are still original and seem solid. I'll probably replace them prior to warranty ending, but don't want to go through the hassel of re-wrapping them.
Its the power conversion system. Please see the video posted earlier in this thread (Done by Munro) that does a great job of explaining what it is and how it's different from all other tesla models.
When I made this post I didn’t have a service appointment. My truck was charging at half speed but I was just dealing with it. After hearing that could be a warning sign of the PCS I made an appointment and sure enough they are gonna swap it.
Oh interesting, no I think our issues are different. Mine happens specifically between 30-40 miles per hour and sounds like a loud buzzing/clicking noise above my head. But when sitting in the backseat it sounds like it's coming from outside. I can't seem to pinpoint it so hoping the service...
I’m gonna keep my truck now that they are swapping my PCS next week. Also I found out for FSD transfer I would have to take delivery by March 31st which wouldn’t happen. And foundation series cybertrucks are excluded. But I’m good now so moot point. I appreciate all the discussion here as it...
I had asked grok the same thing prior to starting this thread and it also said 40% of people on this forum report the issue. It did disclose that this was based on the the forum polls and it didn't have enough data for overall numbers. But still....40% of people on there have the issue. Come on...
Thanks for posting these. I had watched them a long time ago and forgotten. In the first video they discuss how the PCS2 has two systems (for redundancy) that are copies of each other. I wonder if that's why some people like myself experience the charging at half speed symptom first. Maybe that...
Oh nice, I hadn’t realized tha was coming to the U.S.
That could definitely be an option for us with the kiddos. Also would mean I could keep my CT :)
Mine never failed completely, but has been charging at home at 50% for a while now. I guess that’s a warning sign. I have an appointment for next week and they approved PCS replacement under warranty. I have 16k miles.
Agree with Outdoors, you probably don’t need to worry with the 2026 model. That was my entire conundrum.
good news though, my service center just messaged me saying they are planning on swapping the PCS since it’s charging at half rate on level 2 charging. I suppose that’s best case scenario vs...
This is great info. I have a service appointment for next week for some other various things. I did also add that it charges at half speed but they didn't add PCS replacement to mine. I will reach out to them to try and get it on there. If I can get it swapped, my worry is no more :)
