  1. Got my PCS failure badge yesterday.

I guess if you factor weekends it was “only” 12 business days and they were also shut down from a snow/ice storm for a couple of days but, yeah, even 10 days was surprisingly long. They replaced the “high voltage harness-ACJunction box” and the “ancillary device cluster assembly” as well as the...
  2. Got my PCS failure badge yesterday.

I think the SC’s in NC used to be an issue but seem better now. When my PCS failed last month and I was towed into Charlotte they loaned me a Cyberbeast. I had it for 18 days waiting on parts. I put way more than 100 miles on it.
  3. Got my PCS failure badge yesterday.

Starting to see a silver lining in the major ordeal I went through with mine. It was totally out of the blue with no warning at all. But at least I have a new PCS and hopefully it’s not gonna happen again...
  4. Tesla’s Official Cybertruck Vault Divider is TERRIBLE!!?

I have the old version and it would only fit in certain spots until I finally used a dremel to shave the pins and make them a little thinner and it’s been working great ever since.
  5. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

Thanks. That looks like it definitely would have been expensive. And it must be in short supply since it took over two weeks to get one. One lingering thought I still have. When it initially went out and we were trying to get it lined up for the flatbed ramp and had the truck briefly powered...

Can anyone comment on what the “device cluster assembly“ is and what the “power conversion system” does? Thanks.
  7. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

Well, after 18 days at the service center ”waiting for part” the truck is finally fixed. I‘m almost 4 hours away and it’s closing time so I haven‘t picked it up yet. It’s showing up on the app again after being a ghost. This is what the app shows was repaired:

Looks like they have an idea now. Just in:
  9. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

The Estimate shows “low voltage circuit intergrity check”, $230, and just for labor, no parts. They told me at drop off it will likely be under warranty and this would be waived. The truck is still “dead” on the app but at least it is now showing its last location is in the parking lot at the...
  10. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

Haven’t heard anything. No diagnosis on the app yet. Says “waiting for parts” and they pushed my pick up date to Friday.
  11. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

It’s under a thin piece of rubber at the bottom of the rear door pockets. Not marked. Need fingernail or similar to flip it off.
  12. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

OP here. Thanks for all the replies, ideas and sympathy. We finally made it to the service center and the truck had been dropped off but they hadn’t gotten to it yet. Their first guess is the power converter. They gave me a Beast as a loaner (geez, it will snap your cervical spine if you‘re not...
  13. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

Actually the critical alert I got on my phone was that dog mode was inoperative and “environmental system fault”. So that’s kinda reassuring.
  14. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

Will hopefully know later today. Truck is still on the flatbed at the service center.
  15. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

Yes. Of the “lessons learned” so far from this, keeping a 12v jumper box in the truck is number one. Once you are in the frunk it is easy to find the terminals to hook up it up. This at least will let you open the doors, windows, tailgate and access the screen for whatever controls might still...

23,000. Was one of the relatively early ones, delivered in April 2024.
  17. Totally Bricked CT at supercharger

I’ve had 5 different Teslas, 250,000 miles and never had any significant issue until today. And it was awful. On a 350 mile trip back to home. Half way I plugged in to supercharger at 18% charge, went in to pick up some snacks, left the dog with dog mode on. About 20 minutes later at 50% got a...
  18. Staining spots on metal

I’d try Sprayaway first and if that doesn’t work then passivate it with Citrasurf, that has always worked for me. Several threads on the forum about passivating. Very easy to do.
  19. Back seat dog hammock - recommendations?

This one has worked well for us. Has a hard base that supports our golden retriever. https://www.evbase.com/products/tesla-cybertruck-pet-mat-rear-seat-cover-waterproof-oxford-cloth-full-cover-pet-liner?srsltid=AfmBOopBMtSpzKXFVXQfLUUS8Bi0jNmv-TuTKvwISQsdxV-LyHmd0nRA We also tried one that went...
