I guess if you factor weekends it was âonlyâ 12 business days and they were also shut down from a snow/ice storm for a couple of days but, yeah, even 10 days was surprisingly long. They replaced the âhigh voltage harness-ACJunction boxâ and the âancillary device cluster assemblyâ as well as the...
I think the SCâs in NC used to be an issue but seem better now. When my PCS failed last month and I was towed into Charlotte they loaned me a Cyberbeast. I had it for 18 days waiting on parts. I put way more than 100 miles on it.
Starting to see a silver lining in the major ordeal I went through with mine. It was totally out of the blue with no warning at all. But at least I have a new PCS and hopefully itâs not gonna happen again...
I have the old version and it would only fit in certain spots until I finally used a dremel to shave the pins and make them a little thinner and itâs been working great ever since.
Thanks. That looks like it definitely would have been expensive. And it must be in short supply since it took over two weeks to get one.
One lingering thought I still have. When it initially went out and we were trying to get it lined up for the flatbed ramp and had the truck briefly powered...
Well, after 18 days at the service center âwaiting for partâ the truck is finally fixed. Iâm almost 4 hours away and itâs closing time so I havenât picked it up yet. Itâs showing up on the app again after being a ghost. This is what the app shows was repaired:
The Estimate shows âlow voltage circuit intergrity checkâ, $230, and just for labor, no parts. They told me at drop off it will likely be under warranty and this would be waived. The truck is still âdeadâ on the app but at least it is now showing its last location is in the parking lot at the...
OP here. Thanks for all the replies, ideas and sympathy. We finally made it to the service center and the truck had been dropped off but they hadnât gotten to it yet. Their first guess is the power converter. They gave me a Beast as a loaner (geez, it will snap your cervical spine if youâre not...
Yes. Of the âlessons learnedâ so far from this, keeping a 12v jumper box in the truck is number one. Once you are in the frunk it is easy to find the terminals to hook up it up. This at least will let you open the doors, windows, tailgate and access the screen for whatever controls might still...
Iâve had 5 different Teslas, 250,000 miles and never had any significant issue until today. And it was awful.
On a 350 mile trip back to home. Half way I plugged in to supercharger at 18% charge, went in to pick up some snacks, left the dog with dog mode on. About 20 minutes later at 50% got a...
Iâd try Sprayaway first and if that doesnât work then passivate it with Citrasurf, that has always worked for me. Several threads on the forum about passivating. Very easy to do.
This one has worked well for us. Has a hard base that supports our golden retriever.

We also tried one that went...
