Originally installed on my beast, but removed in anticipation of the new mounting system. Tesla ended up installing a brand new one. $700 OBO. Prefer not to ship. Lone Tree, CO area. DM me if interested.
Question for you all. My PCS failed and had been replaced. Is there a recommended charge amperage I should be using going forward. I always had it set at 40amps. Thanks for any intel here.
Thanks, tide80, for posting your dimensions! I ordered V2 as well before all the issues started being posted. Rather than go through the return process, I used your method to notch the bracket. This worked just fine. I measured 32 times and actually dry-mounted the bracket to double-check...
Been waiting all year for this mount!!! Same height as the original! Not sure why this wasn't V1 :) Winning one of these would be almost as good as winning the Powerball....OK that might be stretching it a bit....
Find the install instructions. There are additional steps to āactivateā the light bar once connected. You have to turn on the power to the roof and do a few additional steps. It is all written up in the install pdf which is posted out here somewhere. I had the same concern after connecting...
With all the craziness out there I am concerned and wondering if the Tesla supplied USB is sufficient? What is the benefit of an aftermarket larger USB and do I need to do anything other than plug it in? I have already filmed one person writing "Gay Truck" in the dirt on the side of my beast...
Jumping on this one, definitely a bug in the new update. I had no issues before now wiper randomly turns on all the time. Washed windshield specifically and still happening.
Iāll second that. I have the black and white ones as well. Iād give them 5/5 stars. Wish Iād got them on the Black Friday sale but totally worth the non discounted price. They fit like a glove and the ac/heat still works.
