It's pretty clear by the overwhelming responses that my initial post was useless here. And that my intent has been completely twisted into a tesla hating/defaming a-hole.
I did try to leave the first time but my dumbass couldn't find (and still can't find) the de-register button anywhere and I...
Can you kindly name some solutions discussed on this forum about the issues (aside from comments like "put a sealer on it", "duct tape", or "hope it gets fixed soon!"). Perhaps if we speak, with enough chatter it can make a difference?
After a single post here about the accelerator pedal cover...
If it's a motor issue, they are probably waiting on the replacement part before letting you schedule. Good news is that it's a fairly quick same day repair. Mine got fixed much quicker than the "6 hours" they quoted me.
Be careful with that "meaningless" statement about build/service quality. I don't want you to have to go through what I did. ?
Based on other threads, some how it does make me feel better knowing that others have had issues with service and communication.
If I follow the popular logic here...
Unfortunately there are many, including me, that love the truck too much that we justify these experiences.
If it makes you feel better you got to drive it more than half of your ownership! Look at @Lamar MK on Twitter/X. Diehard Tesla fan, got CT 2 months ago, visited service center 3 times...
That sucks. If it makes you feel better, as I was "trying" to leaving the SC, mine had the overhead gear selector hanging out of place. It was fine when I initially dropped it off.
I rarely post online or do anything social media related.
Almost feels like gaslighting but nonetheless I've learned alot about CTs (good and bad) here and firsthandedly truly understand what a tesla "fanboy" means now.
Unfortunately, I still don't know what TESLAQ means...
I don't disagree with your first statement. I clearly see the result of my post.
I can't help if someone takes my post as "confirmation of problems" and reads it with prejudice (blame that to the pre-existing FUD). Sure, FUD may create more FUD.
But how can you solve fears, uncertainty, and...
It's like having/getting a PGY1 in the ICU. The PGY 3 or Fellow is usually more reliable. The PGY1 probably won't drop a lung during his/her first few central lines, but you should be nervous as the attending signing off and should be aware of possible complications. ?
The car itself is amazing. I too felt the same and despite a few issues, it has been great.
It may only be a handful of CTs, but I think having a healthy concern about the issues mentioned here/elsewhere makes you better prepared. No harm in double checking the wiper, panels, frunk alignment...
No, I was admitting that I misinterpreted your prior post but yea didn't help that I decided to be an ass about it in the first place. I'll own up to that.
Don't get me wrong, I agree with you and understand all the points made on this thread. But geez, I thought this forum was the venue to share my concerns amongst fellow Tesla supporters/owners who may have similar concerns.
We all obviously love the Tesla brand. Honestly, didn't think my post...
Well my post took a hard turn from my initial intent and degenerated.
I was expressing/questioning an opinion/thought. Not okay to question practicality?
That's not too woke of you to illegitimatize my question. I thought it was a legit question to ask if anyone else also found themselves justifying QC issues, service issues, etc.. just like I do. And for my own reassurance, I even asked if there were any owners with positive experiences that had...
