  1. Hate going too far

I had a fun experience last month as well. Around the middle of the video, this dude in a tiny Ford Focus got on the left passing lane on the highway and held his middle finger up until I saw him. He then tried to speed off. When he realized his mistake, he got very shy. Probably shouldn't...
  2. 2024.20.7 V3 Supercharging Curve Comparison Tested (w/ Improved DC Fast Charging Update)

Yeah sorry about not continuing it, I didn't much care to see it beyond that. So this is still the same 250kW capped supercharger and I wasn't expecting to see the charge stay at higher power for longer, but rather wanted to see if the curve was smoother now in the cold, and the answer is yes...
  3. Bomb cyclone storm in Seattle. Cybertruck powered my house! PowerShare usage stats.

I agree, having a gas backup generator is unfortunately still a necessity. The reason I'm bummed about this is that the solution would be for the PowerShare protocol/software (using the 3v Gateway) to support the AC input of a solar panel system, just like a Powerwall setup does today. We were...
  4. Bomb cyclone storm in Seattle. Cybertruck powered my house! PowerShare usage stats.

I'm in a fairly rural part of NH. My closest neighbor is far enough that even if they were running a generator I wouldn't really hear it. But either way, probably not me, no.
  5. Bomb cyclone storm in Seattle. Cybertruck powered my house! PowerShare usage stats.

All generators produce electricity ;) What do you mean exactly? Lots of my neighbors use generators, though none that I know have bidirectionally charging EVs yet.
  6. Bomb cyclone storm in Seattle. Cybertruck powered my house! PowerShare usage stats.

Ah ok. Yeah, I ran my house using just the nema 14-50 outlet, hooked up to my 50A transfer switch + interlock kit, but only for a few hours at a time. I've since gotten the PowerShare gateway installed so I'm no longer capped at 12 hours, I was just always curious if it had no cooldown period...
  7. Bomb cyclone storm in Seattle. Cybertruck powered my house! PowerShare usage stats.

Does the truck require a manual restart every 12 hours for the 240v outlet? Does it need to "cool off" or it just continues uninterrupted?
  8. DIY vault cargo divider (homemade from wood)

Yeah I'm thinking of remaking this one with thinner wood and better supports, I might just stain it properly as well
  9. DIY vault cargo divider (homemade from wood)

First off, don't tell me what to do with my life, please. I get enough people on the road and internet telling me that spending money on the Cybertruck was a mistake, I don't also need Cybertruck owners telling me the same. If you don't like how I spend my time and money, stay in MA. I live free...
  10. DIY vault cargo divider (homemade from wood)

A little unconventional, but I set out to build my own cargo divider just because. It was a quick prototype that I ended up sanding and staining as I won't have time to build a more "proper" one for the time being. I think it turned out pretty good! It's made of white pine (though any softwood...
  11. Homemade mobile solar charging panels, Starlink, & other mods on my Cybertruck

@Cybertechnical first off, awesome writeup (the solar charging piece in particular). I think that given the current market of consumer grade hybrid inverters/battery banks, this is close to as good as one could get to decent off-grid charging. I definitely would have hoped a battery bank with a...
  12. All Season Tires (Pirelli Scorpion AS) + 20" Inch Core Wheels + Wheel Covers Are Here! -- My Real World Range / Consumption Data 📊

To add to the data points, here are the first 6000k miles on my AWD CT on stock all terrain tires. It tells the story a bit better to split wh/mi by speed and temperature. I'll have some great data after this first winter here in NH, and maybe I switch to the all season tires and get another...
  13. Firewood harvesting powered by Cybertruck

This is awesome. We have a similar setup that we use when we fell trees more than 100 feet from the house (as that's the longest extension cord we can use without breaking code). The only difference is ours is a Boss 16ton (20ton gas equivalent) splitter so we use it for fairly large (green)...
  14. Cybertruck replaced portable generator during power outage

This is cool. I've been working so hard to try and get information on the 3V gateway and NO ONE (Tesla, Qmerit, other certified installers) are willing to share information or they straight up don't know how this works. I can see the mains connected but I also see a breaker in the middle left...
  15. Ventilated seat Issue?

We can definitely hear and feel the fan running but no air comes out the seats unfortunately
  16. Ventilated seat Issue?

That's interesting. Maybe there are some faulty trucks then. I'd love to hear from more people and in the meantime I'll attempt to reach my service center. I've just about never gotten a response from them but it's worth a try.
  17. Ventilated seat Issue?

Can confirm both my front seats have the same issue as what others report. Here is what I've tested so far. I'm comparing it somewhat to my 2023 X Plaid: - on the highest cooled seats setting (3 bars) you can hear the fan by the headrest (odd place to put the loudest part of the system) and it...
  18. Landscaping + forestry using my Cybertruck work truck! 🚜 Check out suspension self leveling after manure drop 😎

Plenty of space up here in NH! Houses are cheap, there are minimal permits needed for just about everything, and there's no state income tax.
  19. Landscaping + forestry using my Cybertruck work truck! 🚜 Check out suspension self leveling after manure drop 😎

Yeah, you really want to put down a tarp because there are a lot of nooks for water to drain out of the bed and dirt would likely clog them up.
