I guess I was lucky. Mine went to reduces charging . My 50 amp charger would only go to 32 amps and my 32 amp charger would only go to 20. so the 2 week wait was ok.
I have a foundation Beast and the only time I use "Beast mode" is when someone wants to feel the full acceleration "head jerker" that people ask about. Other than that it is probably not worth it.
This is really bad when the posted speed is 70 yet the CT does not recognize it. The screen shows 55 for miles and miles (US hwy 31 from Kilgore to Tyler TX)... I have had to use "hurry" or "madmax" to get to 70 mph. I wish I could go back to speed control on the wheel like it was a year ago.
The wiper is the worst problem and should be the easiest to fix... I think the wiper should be off and stay off until I turn it on especially in FSD. I am constantly having to turn it off every time I get back into FSD from trying to miss a pot hole of some other thing that FSD does not recognize.

If you have solar power at your home where you push your excess power back to the grid, then you should be able to do it. It would probably require a separate 3-way connection that disconnects your solar and connects your CT to replace your solar (say at night) then your home would be powered...
