  1. Official Cybertruck Accessory store is live!! Includes: Tailgate ramp, Basecamp, wrap, franz ball decal and more

I want to be able to lift and drop one tire at a time. To make easy to change tires. Also a rack to place spare tires on. Maybe a switches for lighting. solar panels. what do think.
  2. Air Suspension as Tire Jack on your Air Suspension's Cybertruck

I wrote something about this a while ago on software I would like to have on the truck for changing tires, as I do plan on going off road with it. With the air compressor and impact wench, it could make changing a tire fast and easy. Looking at how flat tires are done now (no spare) by tesla, I...
  3. I dont think the CT will kick ass in baja (with a yoke)?

Yes, You are so right about this. For me, I think with new tech, it should add to our lives with the least amount of relearning. Remember when the joke was if windows was a car? We would have to learn how to start it with each new update. It doesn't seem like a big deal. Just move your hands...
  4. I dont think the CT will kick ass in baja (with a yoke)?

Well I guest technically the yoke would be 4 and 8 oclock not 9 and 3. But that is for people who use the push-pull method, I don't see how the push pull method would work with a yoke. Im all for anything new that will work. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around you cant move your hand...
  5. I dont think the CT will kick ass in baja (with a yoke)?

A yoke is great for FSD, BUT LIKE I SAID, FSD will not work off-road, and so a yoke will be more problem off-road than on the road. This thread is about yokes not FSD
  6. Tesla is sticking with yoke steering wheel; Elon Musk says progressive steering is still years away

sorry, but at some point everyone arm has crossed in front of an airbag. I think making a turn, you either palm the wheel like you have a Brodie knob or you hand over hand to turn. and off road I almost always do hand over hand. Also I will let the wheel turn in my hand always keep it so I can...
  7. I dont think the CT will kick ass in baja (with a yoke)?

Just wondering who wants a real steering wheel in their truck? For me, a yoke will not work as I plan to drive off-road and the way I drive I think a yoke will be trouble (more than likely cause an accident). I can see it working on a car, but I don't believe FSD will work for off-road. For the...
  8. Battery Replacement

I fully agree with you. but I said the weak link. I didnt mean it was a poor design. it was (IMO) the part there would wear out first or the part that a driver would have the biggest impact on.
  9. Battery Replacement

I was thinking CT as the SS skin and other pieces of the truck are much better than A leaf. I feel a very slow to rust and heavy duty exoskeleton. As well, the electric motors make the battery pack that most people are going to full charge and discharge the weakest link. The kid that drives his...
  10. The Exoskeleton

I asked about this a long time ago. What I don't get, the doors weak spots are the latch and the hinge. I really want to see the test truck damage front corner offset and side impact tests. I have faith that they will do right by us. I honestly believe that Musk wants to make something great...
  11. Battery Replacement

The last thing I saw Elon was saying the batteries would be recyclable. I thought it would be because they would replace the pack. MAYBE the whole pack would bolt in? One reason I want this is because of the long life of the truck. The battery pack is a weak link. IF it was replaceable. the...
  12. My Cybertruck pop-up roof tent design

Crissa, I was going by the picture show on the computer during the ride along tesla gave at the release of the truck.
  13. My Cybertruck pop-up roof tent design

I was under the impression that the camera is at the peak of the roof. just above the head of the driver under the beam. Looking through the glass above the passengers head. Above the bed cover. I think being on the tailgate is a problem in many ways, such as tailgates down or how far is the...
  14. My Cybertruck pop-up roof tent design

Really nice work, well thought out. But one question. I was under the impression that the review mirror was a camera place at the peak of the roof (just about the drivers head). With none on the doors, would this work with the cameras, would this kill the self driving mode?
  15. Cybertruck enhanced tires

there is a reason you dont see them out there. the tweel has strips of rubber to support the tire and rocks can get stuck in that area making the tire unbalanced at high speeds,
  16. What software would you want on the cybertruck?

This should be a must on all cars but the truck and tire noise is a pain on highways.
  17. Winching...

    thanks for posting!!!!!
  18. What software would you want on the cybertruck?

People have talked about the hardware they would want on the truck. Like solar panels to winches. But what software would you want on the truck? Tesla if you are listening... For me, I would love software that had a crawl mode that I could set the speed. Also in that thought a crawl mode...
  19. Conducting testing on 300 series stainless steel - temperature and bullet test

This is a little different from the film put in between the pane of glass in modern windows...
  20. Winching...

I was thinking about what if you attached a webbing strap around the tire, anchored at a hole in the wheel (lie you would tire chains or cables). if you could get the wheel to spin slowly enough, the motor has more than enough torque to work. opinion?
