Elon has confirmed that the side mirrors are removable by owner:
Bigfoot quality footage but it’s something new. You can side side mirrors and the rear wheels steering. Different than original prototype.
Even with the improved manufacturing techniques to keep costs down, no way can they keep the original prices (and yes the fine print warned of this anyways)
The angle/curve on the bottom left might be where one big windshield wiper goes (which itself is subject to a lot of speculation).
No laser beams. Just one big wiper like the semi.
The semi has a different shape to the window so this must be the CT windshield

It’s piecing the puzzle together. HW4 chips are supposed to come out this fall, the same time the CT was originally slated for. Seems obvious it will have next generation chips
That will allow for an overhead, 360 type view. Also will be handy for off-roading, looking for bumps (until mid kicks in). I think the Rivian or hummer have something like this.
360 underneath cameras (which could eliminate blind spots) in addition to the normal suite will allow much better...
