Before you put anything on the glass, clean it with soap and clay bar after. Glass has pores like paint, so claybar will remove any contaminants. RainX next to seal the pores. I’ve read that CarPro has some great glass protectants too. I use their ceramic coatings and they are great.

The rail mechanism is fine and has a nice T slot for attachments. The box it all rolls into takes up the top front of the bed like a tool box. The storage box has drain tubes that go into the forward bed drain holes to route any water that might get into the system.
