I have big concerns about towing, I have a travel trailer which weighs about 6000 lbs so I figure the best I can do is about 100 miles between charging. I normally tow about 5000 miles per trip, that would be 50 stops for charging. I guess I’ll stick with my Ram.
Plus the truck is now...
Here in Lake Havasu we get more heat than anywhere else except Death Vally, but there isn’t a city there. Can’t wait for the CT, wondering if anyone else here is from Havasu.
Most half ton trucks come standard brake controls. Just bought a Ram 1500 hemi and it was standard. Just bought the Ram because now I’m at least 4 years out.
rr6013, why are you ordering a CT if you can’t live without an 8ft bed. If your a contractor hauling sr or plywood constantly then you would be better off with ice. I was a sub contractor ( retired ) and hauled most everything on flat 18 ft trailer. It worked better for me for my situation.
Everything in this forum is speculation and after watching this for a year I’m tired of all of it. I think I’ll just wait for the final say from Elon and put all this on the back burner.
I’m as anxious as anybody, but this is wasting a lot of time.
Sorry about you northerners freezing but it very rarely freezes here in the desert so I think no handles is great. Elon didn’t say door handles, just handles. Maybe no intierior handles, quit panicking till you know the whole story.
If it’s not super expensive it would work for me. I’m in Arizona and we get about 360 days of sunshine per year and I don’t drive more than 25 miles a week usually. I wouldn’t need to charge except on trips.
I am sorry I brought up taxes as this is a forum
for what we all want, the CT. We can all disagree on politics and we’re all entitled to our opinions, so I will keeep mine to myself as I would hope everyone else will too.
