Having a cover on the bed of any pickup is typically to secure and protect, including from the rain... so, not having it be waterproof is a bit of an oversight IMO. Not really sure where the 'Tesla never SAID it would be waterproof' somehow ok's it. I think it would have been somewhat implied...
Platte Clay Electric Coop is my provider, however, the main provider - Evergy - just announced time based rates to go into effect this year inside of KC Metro area. They were also on a fixed rate 24/7.
I'm outside of KC, MO.
I did awhile back when I only had PTP service. I live outside of city limits, so no providers were running newer broadband to our house. It worked great and that was during the very early adoption period. After that came out, 2 providers came thru and ran Fiber, so I sold my system to a...
Although I may end up getting the CT when my time is up, I don't understand how everyone isn't univerally calling out EM for promising a 500+ mile range for $69K and instead giving a 300+ mile range for $99K. I mean, I appreciate the man and the company, but that could be one of the biggest...
They're already doing this with collision repair shops. The used to have a few 'select' shops get certified, now they are opening some of their own shops to compete. Just the way it works, I guess.
I own a small MSP and have been thru many 'evil' corporations starting to offer the same...
Bought a M3P in 2021 and the panel gaps were as good as my wife's Volvo. Absolutely not one gap that I had to take to Tesla to get resolved. I think that was an old issue that has been resolved for the most part.
I just bought an adapter for my daughter to charge her ID4 from my Tesla charger... This is something that will be bought up quickly until everyone moves to the NACS standard.
I think the smaller vehicle is going to resonate with many buyers. I've had several full size trucks and they are a pain around town. If you don't need to work out of it or pull something heavy, these smaller form factor trucks are nice. Hesitating on the deposit though since there's no track...
Wow... I simply stated a fact. I made no specific judgements. My M3P has been near perfect for a few years and 30K miles. My experience has obviously been better than yours. Just lucky, I guess.
I certainly believe that some will have issues/rattles/etc. I had a new Ford F150 that needed a...
I would caution using Youtube videos as a source since the content creators have ulterior motives - clicks. Any video with 'Tesla' in the title will get a lot of looks.. and if it is negative, it will get even more. 2 years with my M3P and it has been quite good. Not one warranty repair needed.
Because your place in line is not cut and dry. If you placed preorder 1.5M, but live in an area that gets deliveries sooner, you may get called at 1.25M to complete it... just random numbers, but the preorder number is only somewhat relevant, at least if they follow the same method as...
Absolutely not... I'll take one for the team though and trade pre-orders... I'm much farther out so the bugs will be worked out by the time mine comes up.
I've had many different cars, with many different size tanks (range), and I still manage to run them down to '0' miles at one point or another... Battery technology will improve, more chargers will be installed, and I'll still need another few miles of range...lol
