would like to learn if they can install a LED bar on the inside of top of the windshield ... like where the prototype lightbar was supposed to be...and make it slick for appearance purposes.... I assume it would be easily possible and it would look much cooler design wise.

@densicw ... can you talk with them to learn what it possible? that is one mod i'd consider on my CR to make it stand out and look slicker. thank you

I think the reason they can't do that is they need the clearance off of the glass to not just light up the glass and make it impossible to see through. This is also the reason they used laser instead of led, so that the beam is tight enough to not hit the glass.

Jeep owners have done similar mods for interior light bars and they all report that the glass catches enough light that it makes it impossible to see.
