No. Nothing. I did place my reservation within the first minute. I got the day wrong in the spreadsheet, but my reservation was as soon as it opened.
That's a good indicator as well. I bet they have a whole weighted system of attributes when choosing foundation invites.

I also ordered the very minute it opened. The website was crashing so hard I accidently placed 7 orders, in fact. lol

I don't see how that would be meaningful considering that the Cybertruck reveal participation was heavily loaded to people who were already Tesla fans and who probably already had one or two Tesla's in their driveway.

Wouldn't you expect the earliest reservations to placed by people who were not Tesla virgins?

No doubt the Cybertruck will "pop the cherry" of many new to Tesla, but the earliest reservations were placed primarily by those who had previous Tesla experience.
The reason I say that is because Tesla heavily leans on enthusiast word of mouth as the core of the marketing strategy. They really don't need any chance of Tik-Tok bimbos that will be the first ones to show the world how to abuse every possible aspect of the vehicle for their internet clout.

Not sure what this is based on. I don't think anyone has been able to nail down any real logic to why anyone who receive an invite to order was sent that invite other than the fact that they had a reservation placed at some point.

I have never owned a tesla product of any kind. Honestly, now that I think about it, I know very few people who do that I interact with daily. I was a very early reservation holder. I got the FS invite on the 8th and ordered a Cyberbeast. No info from tesla since then other than the survey about home installation of the included equipment.

I really don't think anyone will ever have a clear understanding of why they are going out in the order they are.
oh, for sure. I think we are all taking educated guesses here. I've been keeping a list in my head of how they may be weighting their lottery system for foundation. For instance:

-how many times did you log into your account since reveal night 2019 and scroll down to your reservation page and make sure nothing changed?
-did you actually download your reservation agreement .pdf?

Tons more factors at work here. They have all that info, and they definitely use it.

I completed my order Dec 26. Made the added $1,000 deposit.

Done my loan application and my personal details: driver's license, etc.

There are no options that it will be Foundation series and extender.

Tesla confirmed my order and that my loan was approved wirh $7,700 down payment.

Delivery is between Jan - Mar, 2024.

I am not in a hurry. My preference is actual dual motor which I intend to get even if I have the resources for this Foundation series which I think will be a collectors' item.

Wow California is in the lead of states with orders by a huge margin. So many Teslas already there so that makes sense.

I do find it interesting that a huge amount of people picked FSD in 2019, but not many picked the range extender in 2023.

I thought about the range extender but since it can be added later I passed. And I didn’t want to slow down my delivery any.

Agreed, I'd like the extra range, but wanted to get the quickest possible truck option so I can get some rest. :p

There will soon be stats charts added, compiled from the submitted info showing the take rates for different configurations. This of course will become more varied as non-Foundation Edition model ordering begins.
Do we know what percentage of the 2 million pre orders are members of this group?
Im trying to understand how many might actually be ordered.

I believe i read recently that this forum had passed 20k members. So that would be 0.01% of the total 2MM reservations that Franz mentioned on the J Leno video.

That’s good information.

An issue with that estimate is the large number of people with multiple reservations, some having reserved as many as 20+.

Just ordered a Dual Motor Foundation Edition and the decision was made easier by the more favorable delivery timeline.

However, I can't seem to find an estimated delivery window. It's not in the order confirmation I recieved via e-mail and I cannot locate any estimated delivery timelines on the Tesla website or in my Tesla account.

BTW, I've never received a referral credit and I only have two Tesla in my Tesla account, one purchased new from Tesla and another purchased used from a private party.

Also, I placed the order rather quickly, as soon as I saw it in my e-mail, as I didn't want the offer to get pulled while I piddled around. So I didn't spend much time scrutinizing the options, etc. In fact, I don't remember making any decisions at all, it seemed like the Foundation Edition took care of everything I wanted. I saw it had Premium 20" All Terrain tires but I don't remember any options to make a different selection, I just sped through it. I didn't want a wrap but I don't recall it being offered (I could have just ignored it since I know I didn't want it).

Now I can't find those kinds of specifics anywhere in my account or on the general Tesla website. Where are the Foundation Series specifics published? Especially the expected delivery. I imagine it's pretty difficult for Tesla to estimate deliveries since the ramp speed is still a variable.

In any case, I'm pretty stoked to be "in", even if I am still waiting for a more concrete timeline.
Same here! I'm thinking I may have read mid 2024 somewhere - now I wish I would have slowed down a bit considering I've waited this long ? If you happen to find an estimated time frame, please let me know!
